Thompson's Hardwood Flooring and Tile

Note: We bought our own tile and grout. Pros Worked very fast Punctual Cons Tiles are uneven. Scratched the walls and cabinets with belt buckles or equipment. Shoe smuge markes all over the walls. Splattered the grout onto the baseboards, doors and walls, then, tried to rub it off and scratched the doors. Splattered mortar on the base boards and cabinets and did not clean it. Rinsed out their dirty buckets of cement ON THE FRONT LAWN. Cemented the lawn and killed the grass. The grout was purchased by us, it was black in color. The grout after they finished was white! I believe they used dirty buckets that tinted the grout a totally different color. Drinking on the job. We showed up in the middle of the day one of the workers was drinking a beer. We voiced our concerns at the end of the job and he only to be offered a $75 discount. Note: This person is a broker. He did not oversee any work. AND The team installers supervisor was there only once. NO OVERSIGHT. This has been a hard lesson to learn. I do not recommend they tile installer. He gave no guidance of tile, grout and thin-set (mortar) to buy. Despite our concerns, he was really quick to want to get paid.

I was disappointed with the job.

I would say A's for everything except for punctuality and returning phone calls. It took me a while to get back in touch with him after our initial visit. He came over twice and after our initial visit I called him to get him to come back and it took him a couple of days to get back to me. It was fine. We eventually hooked up but it was a little annoying. His punctuality, when he actually said he would be here, was fine.
