Third Coast Home Inspection

Craig is very thorough, experienced, and reliable. He does an excellent job of inspecting a home and explaining the situations he notices on the property.

Craig was fantastic, he even caught things that the builders still couldn’t figure out (loose wires in panel causing AC unit issues)! Definitely will be getting Craig’s help on any future inspection needs.

Craig was polite, punctual and professional - the inspection report was thorough and identified items the builder had to address. I would not hesitate to use Third Coast Home Inspection again in the future!

Craig was flexible to fit the inspection in the schedule. The price was about 30% higher than a regular inspection, but the inspection quality and details were about the same. He has great reviews and I got a recommendation from a friend, but probably he was too busy to provide enough attention for this inspection.

My fiance and I are first time home buyers and we'r very nervous about the inspection going in. We found out that we were in good hands with Craig. He did a very thorough job and left us with detailed notes and images to work with. We feel that we have a good sense of our home now and are incredibly happy here.

The level of thoroughness of the report made us feel confident that each and every possible issue with the home had been identified. We especially appreciated that Craig took the time to walk us through the report in person and answer all of our questions. Craig was also able to coordinate a termite inspection for us as well, which saved us time and took that item off of our plate. Finally, Craig provided a great list of contractor referrals, which has already come in handy for us! We will use Craig again.

Scheduling with him was easy and when he showed up his personality is glowing and kind. After he went through the home for the inspection (year in inspection for new built home warranty) we went over the entirety of the report. It could not been a easier or more enjoyable experience. The report was thorough and very detailed.  It included photographs with magnified pictures highlighting troubled or deficient areas of the house.  He created a Must Do list including the items that were hazardous and safety violations and then a list of things that should be fixed but not urgently.  We used his Must Do list to negotiate with the seller in reducing the price a bit.  We had a very short time window to work in and Craig not only fit us into his schedule on very short notice but also nicely came back a second time since the gas at the house was not on during his initial visit.

Lastly, we were out of state during the inspection and he graciously went over his findings with us and answered questions about his report over the phone. 

All in all - we are very pleased with the service provided and would use Craig and his company again and again.

Craig was easy to reach. He accommodated my schedule to do the inspection the next day. He was thorough and explained everything and answered questions as he went through the condo. He gave a verbal summary before he left. Within a few hours he sent a detailed report with pictures and recommendations. His price was reasonable. Had a home inspection on a new home I was buying just as an added measure of peace of mind. Craig did a great job inspecting the house inside and out and let us follow him around so anything he found he would point it out to us immediately and let us know if it was something that needed attention immediately or if it wasn't too big of an issue. 

Along with that we got some great tips for maintaining our new home, some do's and do not's and a lot of breaker box / electrical knowledge. All in all, for our first home Craig made us extremely comfortable with the purchase we were making and helped us prevent a few things in the beginning that could've been bad in the long run. Thank you for everything Craig and we'll be calling you for our 11 month inspection!

Craig Boarini handled my inspection with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. He was able to identify the most minute details pertaining to the quality and worthiness of the future home I was considering purchasing. After the inspection he provided a very clear and concise review and followed up with a prompt phone call immediately after the inspection. Craig was able to answer any and all my questions in an articulate and easy to understand manner. After Craig's thorough assessment I was able to make a much more informed decision about purchasing the home as well as provided the insight needed to negotiate a better deal. I will certainly be using Craig during my next home inspection and I would implore any to do the same. 10/10. 

Craig did a great job on an inspection for a potential investment property.  This is our third home purchase, third inspector, so we knew what to expect with an inspector.  Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy and we immediately liked his personality via the phone.  He followed up that same evening to let us know the contract for the appraisal would be emailed shortly, and it was, and we signed it easily online.   The day of the inspection, Craig showed up early and started the inspection prior to our arrival which was nice as I appreciate and respect punctuality and it minimized our party standing in the hot sun longer than necessary.  Craig took the time to brief us after the inspection and sent the full report that evening.  Price was fair and was clearly stated on his website, no surprises.  Craig is personable, easy to chat with, knowledgeable, and explained everything in terms we could understand.  Found Craig via Angie?s List and chose him for his numerous high ratings, and it proved successful. Overall, great experience and would recommend. 

Craig was very thorough with his inspection.  He addressed every area that you would expect a home inspector to inspect.  He provided a detailed verbal summary to us at the end of the inspection.  Just a few hour later, he emailed us the detailed list of items addressed along with photos of every part of the house he inspected.  I would definitely use Third Coast for any future home inspection.  Craig was also extremely pleasant to spend the morning with.

Craig did a very thorough inspection, and turned up a number of issues that needed to be fixed before my one-year builder warranty on my new house ran out. His experience and knowledge are very apparent, and he took a lot of time explaining the items he found, and even what the follow-up should be. Since I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, and really don't understand electrical or HVAC issues, this was very much appreciated. My builder is in the process of fixing these items, and having Craig's report gave me a much better understanding of what needs work, and a lot of peace-of-mind that the house will be in better shape due to his inspection.
