He was fine. I didn't pay more than the deal. He has a good attitude. He's willing to do whatever I had him clean even the blades on the ceiling fans. The price was good. It was a good deal. His professionalism was good.

The cleaning team did a great job cleaning the house after move-out. They cleaned all rooms, bathrooms, closets, etc. as well as the appliances. This is not the first time we have hired them and they never disappoint. They do not leave until you tell them you are satisfied.

Team arrived on time, cleaned every nook and cranny, perfection in cleaning!

They were ok. They bill themselves as the least expensive maid service in town, which they probably are; however, you get what you pay for. I paid $25/hr, and other services I've used run $30/hr or more. However, every time Maids of Austin came, it took them twice as long to do the same amount of work, so ultimately, I'm spending more money. Part of this is my fault, as I only had them coming once per month, and I never got the same maid. So, they never had a chance to get used to my house and routine. Nevertheless, twice as long seems excessive. The cleaning the maids did was fine, and they were pleasant enough. I had some problems with the office, also. The first two times I used them, they had to reschedule my appointment. I had booked it a month in advance and we agreed on the first Monday of each month, so it isn't as if they were taken unawares. Also, they had me down as a set time, but I never actually used all that time - they do not seem to pay attention to the hours the maids actually work, and each time I had to call to get reimbursed for the extra time which was not used. All in all, I'd say that if you're going to use them on a weekly basis, you might have better luck; but doing it as I did was not particularly successful.

VERY WELL, I'VE SCHEDULED THEM AGAIN

Been using them for 5 months now. They have always been prompt, professional, and thorough. There has always been a team member that spoke English so communication has never been a problem. They are very good at what they do and are very friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

They did very well but did not speak English therefore I could not express any details that I wanted to communicate. I would not have them back because of my inability to communicate.

I have been using this company for several years and still very happy. They come monthly to clean and I have referred them to friends and family.

The ladies came in and did what they were hired to do. My bathtub has not been this clean since I moved in. My apartment sparkles. This will help me have a smooth Holiday Season.

Used them for a year now. They used to come out twice a month, but I broke it down to once a month. Nice people and they are great about rescheduling.

I had a tenant that gave us a five day notice of leaving, and then left without telling us. Went inside the unit and it was a mess. (someone is not getting their deposit back!) I was desperate to find someone right away in order to show the unit, and The Maids were available right away. Gave me a quote that was reasonable and came by the next day. They came in and did a great job. I just got back from the unit and I must say it looks great. Thanks for helping me out on such short notice!

They did a good job. They were very friendly and helpful.

They cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. They did vacuuming, dusting, made the bed, swept and mopped. They were great. They were competitive with the other people around. I would say, “use them.” I use them once a week.

They always do a great job. I have been very happy with their work.

The Maids have worked for me for years, reliably and well. They are particularly attentive to the kitchen and bathroom fixtures and hard-to-handle details like shutters and picture frames. I occasionally wish that tile floors were cleaned more thoroughly, but the place always looks (and smells) great after their monthly cleaning. I have used this highly professional service for many years now.

They were prompt and organized but i was unhappy with the price. On another ocassion, i excluded rooms but that meant i was paying per hour and i spent the same amount with less rooms getting cleaned. I'm planning on going with a less expensive competitor.

A crew of four comes and they do a good job. They do all the housecleaning services I expect from them. I have used them for 5 years and have had no issues. If an item is ever broken, they take care of it right away. I just need to replace it, provide a receipt, and they take it off my bill. They are very professional. We leave a key with the company and trust them to come and go whether we are here or not. I can easily contact someone in the office if I need anything. We have never had any issues with them and have been very pleased.

I liked the fact that my house is really clean when they leave, it smells clean and lasted a long time. They do a good job and thorough cleaning. They even did clean the ceiling fans and all stuff, they do a thorough cleaning and they have a good team that comes out. I've recommended it to several of my co-workers and they're using them.

When I initially called to inquire about the services, I left a message after 5 pm and did not get a call back the next day. I called again the day after that and was transferred to a scheduler who quoted me prices. They did not require anyone to come out and gave me an estimate but gave me one based on the type of flooring I had and number and type of rooms and square footage. The price quoted was a range. She told me I would get 30.00 off and a free fridge or oven cleaning. I asked her if she meant one or the other and she said "both, 30.00 off and a free fridge or oven cleaning".The woman was very fast talking but fine. She said I would receive confirmation the day before and then 30 minutes before the crew would arrive. I received a phone call the day before confirming an arrival time of 2-4 pm. I was originally told 1-3pm. The next day I received a call 15 minutes before 3 pm stating they'd be there in 15 minutes. 4 women arrived, one of whom spoke english (the team leader) and I was not there the whole time but my husband was, and he said they worked hard for two hours straight. I think they really did. The team leader told my husband that the free oven and fridge was not included but the 30.00 off was. I think it would've been nice if she had attempted to call the office to double check on it since that was what I was told, but anyway. The bathrooms and kitchen and tile flooring were very well cleaned .The wood floors were great in two rooms and in two other rooms were smeary, spotted, not well cleaned and had a few footprints on them. I noticed that some of the blinds had been man-handled and I had to straighten out the threaded twine running vertically . I also noticed days later that the blinds were cleaned via closing them and dusting vs. cleaning them row by row as I do and so when the blinds are open, you can see the back portion of each row was not cleaned and is still dusty. Same day of cleaning I called the main number and asked if the crew could clean my wood floors with my solution as I'd had some issues with how the floor was left and they said yes but wouldn't take responsibility if anything happened to the wood. They also offered to have the wood floors re-cleaned by the crew but by that time I had cleaned them myself. I scheduled to have the team come one more time as my husband thought we could try and work with the crew and teach them our particulars. A few days later I did receive a call from a quality control employee asking me how the cleaning went. At that time, my main issue was the flooring. She said I should have let the team come back and clean again and she was surprised the main office did not let her know already about my concerns. She said that she would be present at the next cleaning to make sure things were done to my satisfaction. She also said they had an alternate floor cleaner they could use or they could purchase whatever I wanted to use. In sum, I appreciate they worked hard while they were at my house and that some areas were done very very well. I'm hoping we can work with them and I am very glad to have heard from a QA person or I might not have continued using them.

We?ve been using The Maids for about 7 years now. We liked the fact that they have 4 team members (each assigned a specific area of your home) so they get the job done quickly and always do a great job. We?re usually home when they are here but a couple of times we weren?t able to be home during the scheduled cleaning. No problem. They came in, did a great job ? totally trustworthy. We love Team 12! Ana is an excellent leader and always goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy with her team's work.

They come every other week. They are very good. They are punctual. They are careful, and when they break something, they take care of it. They send a crew of four or five people over, so, the job is very fast. They are there for an hour, then, they are gone. It is a good company. They have been very reliable. I have been using them for four years now. There was just a long interruption when I went out of town for awhile. I did not use them then, but when I came back, I started using them again. Their price varies with what you have them do. It is probably a little steep. They are not the cheapest provider out there I am sure.

We were preparing our house for sale and needed to have it sparkling. I scheduled an appointment for about a week out. The only thing I did not receive as promised was a phone call reminder (they say they will call the day before and 30 minutes before), so I had to call that morning to make sure they were still coming. On the scheduled day a team of 4 arrived at the house. The team lead introduced everyone and asked if there was anything special they needed to do. Then they got right to work and were done in about 2 hours. The house looked great and they went so far as to wipe their hand prints off the front door handle when they left. The one downside was the price. They give you a quote based on time and it ended up coming in at the top of the range and then of course taxes are added on. Although it was pricey, they did excellent work and I would use them again.

Called The Maids to obtain an estimate and schedule my home for a one-time cleaning on Monday, 12/10. I provided all the necessary details, including credit card, address, and lockbox info. The company called to confirm on the Fiday before, and reviewed all of the information again. Then on Monday, they called me at work to tell me the team was on their way. Half an hour later, my phone rings again, and their rep tells me the team has arrived at my house and was able to get in the garage, but not in the house. They didn't access the lockbox, as previously arranged and confirmed. After again giving them instructions, the rep hangs up and I heard nothing back. Arriving home that evening, the house was cleaned according to our agreement. No issues. Receipt on the counter indicated they had charged my credit card for an amount slightly less than quoted originally. The next week, I called the company back to set up a recurring, regularly scheduled cleaning. I provided all of my information and was told that they would look at the schedule to see what was available and call me back in a couple of hours. The next day, I called them back, as I heard nothing from the company. I was told that they were still working to schedule my cleaning and would call me back within an hour. A week passes with no call back from the company. I called once again and inquired about the status and was told that my file showed that no one was working on it. A week and a half, and they can't schedule a cleaning? OK, I'll happily take my business elsewhere. I was fine with the cleaning job they did, but I'm not going to continue wasting my time trying to get something scheduled. **UPDATE** The Maids contacted me after being notified of the above review. I missed the call, but they left a message apologizing for the problem. The rep stated that they had previously left me a message, and offered to come and clean my house for free. I checked my messages and my call history, but no record of a call from them, so if they did indeed call, they must have reached the wrong number. And that doesn't correspond with the last call I had with the rep who told me that my file showed no one was working on it. Whatever. As I said in my first review, I had no problem with the quality of their work. My home was cleaned to my satisfaction. And I do appreciate their attempt to correct the scheduling problem.

I was not impressed. For a crew of four charging over $250 for an initial cleaning, I was expecting a better job than if I did it myself. Not sure if it was their technique or products used, but the stainless steel appliances looked dull as did the laminate floors. I tried another service and I got a much better job for $180 and they are now coming biweekly

They actually didn't fully fix the toilets; they required a second fix from an actual plumber to resolve the issue. I wouldn't use them again for handyman work but I would use them for the housecleaning. They are prompt and they pay attention when I ask them to do extra things like pay extra attention to the guest bathroom or wipe down lawn furniture. They are always very good to do those little exceptions.
