"The first two months of this time the home was under construction and not yet legally the property of the home home buyer. Upon the customer closing on the home, all window treatments ordered were fully installed within 6 weeks. There was a delay on part of the order (still within six weeks) and the customer was offered compensation of approximately 15% of the balance due which she accepted, and the order was completed IN FULL. Unfortunately, but at no fault of The Blind Lady company, some of the products from Hunter Douglas arrived damaged and defective. As is the policy of The Blind Lady, all warranty work was provided at no additional charge to the customer. The defective product was replaced, however the replacements still had issues and again were replaced in full,at no charge to the customer, with all additional trip charges (3) for assessment, 1st warranty replacement and 2nd warranty replacement trips at NO charge to the customer. I, the owner, literally worked side by side with this customer repeatedly inspecting every inch of every slat on every blind until she was 100% pleased with all products she had purchased. This process of warranty service did take and additional 3+ months due to working with the Supplier timelines, warranty verification by Hunter Douglas and the customers limited availability of one day per week that she preferred to have the work done. Upon completion of the final warranty work, the customer smiled at me, shook my hand and thanked me."
