The staff of Texas Sun and Shade came out, discussed our needs, took detailed measurements, discussed frame color alternatives and gave us a quote for the turn-key job. We signed the contract and made a deposit of approximately 50% of the cost. It took about 3 weeks for the screens to be made up. Texas Sun and Shade came out, wired the shades into the 120 volt house electrical system, installed the tracks, hung the motors and support rods and aligned and tested the system. They were very professional and through.
Work was done on the promised schedule and was well done. Twice since installation, we have had one section (different sections) get to be difficult to close all the way. In both cases, we called the company and they quickly scheduled a service man to come by the house and adjust the tracks. That work was completed timely and at no cost. I now know how to adjust the side tracks if one gets out of alignment again although they indicated that they would be happy to come out and adjust them if we had any issues. Everyone that has visited our home has commented on the value of the screens in keeping bugs out and making our porch into an enjoyable way to
enjoy being outside without the bugs and mosquitoes. We raise the screens to use the barbeque grill on the porch and raise one of the sections to gain access to the stairs down to the back yard.

Installation went very well. My wife called them to install automatic shades on a wall of windows we have in our house. The rep suggested we would benefit more from an awning that was actually less cost to us. Installation went very well. Our house was made from a unique cement lattice structure and did not have wood beams for them to use - they spoke with our builder and managed to adjust to make the installation. Later on we needed an adjustment to the wind sensor (it was too sensitive) and they came out for no cost to make the change.
