Steve is a class act. Punctual, professional, and does what he says he's going to do. In greater detail, Steve and Texas Electrical Services came to our rescue when another electrical company left us to dry, and didn't do their job correctly. We had a tough time finding someone patient enough to help us with our problem, and Texas Electrical Services was borderline a godsend. Steve came in and not only explained step by step what we needed to do, but also got us in contact with the city inspectors to help us cut through red tape. He did not JUST get us in touch with city inspectors, but also emailed them multiple times and gave us phone numbers for the appropriate parties to contact. I can't thank them enough and it is good to know that good people are out there doing good jobs, especially after what we have been through. See my other reviews for the nightmare we went through with Genesis Electrical prior to Texas Electrical saving us.

Steve, the owner came out and gave the bid and he sent a crew out that were all very polite, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. Customer service was outstanding. I had an I have since referred him in the neighborhood to receive good comments from those customers as well.

Written quote.  Efficient scheduling.  Good price.  Technician listened to the problem and advised a solution based on his experience. Work was done quickly with good clean-up.  A week from my first contact to the service.  Happy!

Stephen and his team fit me into their schedule quickly, arrived on time and began work immediately. They are very conscientious about the quality of their work and always take the time to make sure the items are operational and installed correctly. They clean up after themselves and haul off any debris, boxes, etc.  I made a miscalculation on the location of the two outlets, notified them that it was my fault, and they came back the next morning and made the changes for me.  I am a REALTOR® here in Austin and recommend Stephen and his team frequently and ALL of my referrals have had an excellent experience.  Highly recommended!

They did a great job and were very professional, very patient, and worked with me on deciding what the best options were in terms of the three-way switch and installation of the flood lights.  In addition, they made a special trip to the hardware store to get some special decora switches that I decided to use.  Will definitely use again.

Steve has had his guys come out twice as we finish up a kitchen remodel. The first time was to install can lights. He scheduled one of his master electricians and his apprentice to come out and they were on time, respectful and very knowledgable. Even with some issues with the beams in our attic they spent the time to clearly explain the various scenarios and options for the lights. We couldn't be happier with how the lights turned out. Before even coming out Steve gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone for the work and it was the same quote when the guys showed up, no surprises!
Our second visit wasn't planned and was due to us having to move some electrical outlets after the kitchen was demoed to make it work with the cabinets. I had a very small window to get an electrician out so as not to slow down our contractor so I called Steve at 1pm and he had a guy out the next morning at 9am. This electrician was again very respectful and very detail oriented. It's obvious that Steve has assembled a great group of guys and he is definitely our new go to electrician!

We just moved to an older (1983) house. We called several companies to come do some repairs and troubleshooting around this house. After receiving several "we can schedule you late next week" answers, I called Texas Electrical Services of Austin. Stephen answered the phone immediately and said he would send an electrician that very afternoon. Chuck and Jorge arrived within 3 hours of my call. They promptly got to work and changed the electrical outlet to our dryer. We also had several outlets inside the house that were not functioning. After doing some extensive detective work, they discovered that a breaker also needed to be replaced. These men were very pleasant and professional. We would definitely call this company again for any electrical needs.

I spoke with Steve, the owner, to set up the appointment. He was professional, courteous, and offered to send a technician out the same afternoon. The technician, Chuck, kept in good contact with time of arrival and drove over an hour between the previous appointment and mine. He was very nice, professional, and installed the switch quickly and properly. He even offered to program it for me, although I chose to do this myself. He was mindful of the door and not letting my dog run out, cleaned up once he was done, and reminded me the outdoor utility closet with the breaker panel was unlocked when he finished. I would highly recommend Texas Electrical Services of Austin to anyone looking for excellent customer service and quality work.

I was very satisfies with what Texas Electrical Services did. For what they did, we thought their price was outstanding. They are very professional, very courteous, very knowledgeable and had good price. They were very responsive. They were pretty much on time. The only time they weren't was at the very beginning and they notified us. We're definitely looking at working with them.
