The fan was pushed back to other parts of the engine in a wreck. They had it fixed within 24 hours and called me to let me know it was finished. When I got there they had a receipt and then also a list of things that need attention but not immediately. I would recommend him to anyone.

I came in with a major engine issue and they were able to quickly diagnose it. Gave me an estimate, and some options on how to save money. Quick and easy. Don't be fooled by the laid back South Austin vibe - they are very good at their work.

I recently got service done at Terry Sayther Automotive. I was really impressed with the service I received. Although it took a few attempts at scheduling a time to bring in my car, once it was in it was the service was excellent. I brought my own part in hopes that they could test and install it, and they did exactly that. Whereas some shops would have said that they wouldn't use used or 3rd party parts, they held on to it for me and were able to get it working. They even rigged up a system to solve another problem I was having that would have cost me $2K to fix correctly, and didn't charge me. Really great - thanks Terry.

I've known Terry Sayther for about 25 years and have used his shop for BMW parts, repair and service during most of that time. In the past I've done most of my own mechanic work, but as the BMWs have become more sophisticated and require more specialized diagnostic training and equipment, I increasingly turn to Terry and his crew. As a South-Austinite at heart (and by marriage), I love the funky location and the family atmosphere -- and most important, I like that Terry and his crew are competent professionals.

I'll still do my own work on my truck but I trust Terry with my wife's cabriolet -- that's why it looks and handles like brand new even though it's a 100K mile car.

They only work on BMWs. I love the place. They have a real personality. Everybody there is completely professional. They will tell me if I have a problem coming up and if my car needs some fixing. I really trust them. I spent $107 on that visit. They are very realistic in comparing their prices to typical prices and they are right where they should be. They really care. They do a great job. I have recommended to others and they have recommended them to their friends and family.

They were great. I spent $80 on the job. They were very professional. They didn’t try to push work on me that I didn’t need. They were price conscious. They gave me the timing when the work needed to be done. They looked over everything and told me about the entire car. They fixed a couple of little things that I hadn’t noticed and they didn’t charge me extra for it. I recommend them to others. They got me in early and took care of the problems. The shop was clean. I will continue to use their services in the future.

He is very professional and he knows what he is doing. I left the car the night before it was suppose to be worked on. The work was completed without any delay. I was given a complete rundown of everything that was done. I felt they did a good job and did not try to sell me any service I did not request. I will continue to use them.

I think the prices are pretty good. They are very honest and care about their work. They are also very thorough. I will continue to take my car there in the future and would recommend them to others.

Went very well. Were thorough and persistent in diagnosing "intermittent" problem. Kept me informed and were good at prioritizing urgency of work and providing me with different options in terms of timing of the work. I had taken the car elsewhere before to address a couple of the problems I observed with my car, and in theory, problems were corrected. However, car still didn't seem "right", so I decided to try a different BMW repair/service place, and it worked! Terry Sayther was good at taking a vague description of what seemed wrong ("car just isn't driving right") and translating that into concrete actions. Ultimate result is that problems were diagnosed and corrected, and car is driving 10X better!

I think that he is very skilled at what he does. He doesn't try to take me for my money or do work that is not needed. I would give him the highest recommendation possible for everything that he does.
