Very clean shop. Very professional operation. I made an appointment on the phone and took it in and waited while the work was done. It was ready when they said it would be.

This is the second vehicle that we have taken to Sunbusters. We were very happy with the tinting on our first car and decided to take in my new car. This place has a stellar reputation and has the high end product that we wanted for our new Infinity. We stopped by 3 weeks ago to select the tinting for my car including the front windshield and to avoid any potential hassles with scheduling. We were told that Saturdays book up quickly so we chose to wait 3 weeks for a Saturday appointment. Little did we know what a waste of time that was. On the day of our appointment, we arrived 30 minutes before our 10am scheduled time. We dropped the car and were told that it would be done in 3 hours. So I expected a call about 1pm. By 2pm, I finally called them because they close at 3pm. I was told that my car was still being worked on (for the record, I believe that this was a lie) and that it would be done by 2:30. I had friends over by this time (because my car was supposed to be done by 1pm) so I convinced one of them to take me to pick up my car. We arrived at 2:45. After I paid my car out, I was told it would be done in 2 minutes. 10 minutes later my car was still not done. When I complained to the manager and mentioned that it seems my appointment was worthless, he told me that I had added the windshield last minute (NOT TRUE) and he confirmed that they prioritize people who wait over people with appointments. What!?!?! I finally left with my car at 3:15. Oh, and they ripped my registration sticker in half, didn?t apply the stickers to my window buttons to remind me not to roll down my windows for 3 days, hid my TexTag in the Passenger door console, and didn?t put the Warrantee card where it was supposed to go. We have a 3rd car that we were interested in having tinted but we?ll have to think long and hard before we use Sunbusters again. I just hope that they applied the product correctly since it was clearly such a rush job. It?s clear that my car and my business wasn?t a priority for Sunbusters.

After selecting Sunbusters from Angie's List, I emailed them, and Paul Cox responded very quickly with a relatively detailed email describing their products, services, costs and how long it would take. I selected the product and scheduled a 3-hour appointment for the next Saturday. I showed up for the appointment, Paul Cox led me through the levels of tint, and the car was completed in 2-1/2 hours for exactly the price quoted. Comfortable, wifi-enabled lobby, clean, visible workshop.
Courteous and professional throughout. There were 4 other customers that cycled through the lobby, all of whom were repeat customers.

These guys are awesome. I have used them for 3 cars. Work is quality. Had window tinting done on the first car in 2008. No problems at all thru the life of the car. No better way to beat the Austin heat!

We're happy with it. We selected premium window tint. They seemed to know what they were talking about. They have computerized cutting on their film, which is better for getting the size right. They did everything exactly like they said they were going to and it looks really nice.

I took the car to get it inspected for the first time and I was told it would fail the inspection because the visor tint was below the A/S line. The only solution was to have it removed or removed/replaced so that it would pass inspection. After my initial phone call to Sunbusters, I knew they would be able to take care of the visor tint. I dealt with Jesse, who was very accomodating and knowledgeable. I was able to bring the car in on the following day. The car was ready to go in less than an hour and I was impressed with the quality of the work done. For my wait, the lobby area was comfortable and well-kept. I would highly recommend Sunbusters for any future window tinting needs.

At first I was perturbed because I arrived 15 minutes before opening time, and no one showed up until around 9 AM. However, I wasn't aware that they go by appointments and weren't expecting their first until after 9. Paul was able to get the work started on my car right away, and was nice enough to give me a discount for having to wait. I appreciated his patience and positive customer service attitude. The window film is high quality, the installation is perfect, and it comes with an incredible warranty.

I contacted Sunbusters for information regarding installation of window tinting on my wife's car. They were extremely professional and informative over the phone and then in-person when I arrived to purchase a gift certificate. After about a month, I made an appointment to have the windows tinted with the addition of a remote start unit. I asked specifically for the ability to use our existing key-fobs, they assured me it wouldn't be a problem.

I received a call that my car was ready about three hours after dropping it off, beating their installation time estimate by about an hour. Upon arriving at the store, the installer took me out to the vehicle to show me how to operate the new features.

So far, it's been a wonderful addition... and the windows look great, too!

Any future vehicles I own will definitely find their way to Sunbusters.

Initially we called three companies for bids found on Angie's list as well as the City of Austin certified installers list (for rebate). Sunbusters had the BEST product in our view (no pun intended). Randy, our salesman installed samples on our window next to eachother so we could see how it would actually look. The Vista Terre Ceramic V31 product hands down was the best. Even after the other companies gave us samples of their product, we kept taking them away because this product gave us the best view. We quickly made the decision to have installed and scheduled two weeks out. Randy sent us various bids based on various products, and then we agreed on an installation date. They were scheduled to come at 8:30 a.m. on 4/14/11. The crew pulled up at exactly 8:30 a.m. I was impressed. I walked through the house with the first installer who was setting up, and he had slightly older information than what we agreed on (in the bid process, we took away a few windows that we decided not to put film on and that information was still on sheet - no big deal). The other two installers came and setup shop. They ended up using our 12 ft ladder to reach the high up places. The crew worked hard and all day - cleaning as they went along. I was most impressed with how detailed they were with scraping off and cutting away the silicone around the edges - a very important part of installing tint to make a clean edge without bubbling. One of the installers had to leave a bit early. I noticed a crease in some tint on the back door and Gary reinstalled a new piece for both top and bottom . They left at 4:30 pm after going over all the work done, and detals on warranty and asked if we had any questions at all. Our rebate from the City of Austin will be appx. $385 which will be nice to receive once we have them inspect the work. I highly recommend Sunbusters because of their integrity, professionalism and product selection. Randy even followed up with some marketing pieces as we had a question that another company posed to us....he was Johnny on the Spot with the correct information. After their van was in front of our home during our initial appointment with Randy, the next door neighbor scheduled an appt, as well as their neighbor and another down the street. Since I did all the leg work in interviewing, they figured Sunbusters had to be the best. They are right.

Jason, the owner, provided good advice and a job estimate at their minimum rate which was fair. Robert did a careful and quality job installing the tinting film. Robert was also careful to safeguard the house interior during his setup, installation work and cleanup.

I dropped off my car at lunch time, they walked me through the different types of window film and the pros and cons of each and helped me select the type and the shade. They said my car would be ready by five, and when I picked it up, it was done, and looks great!

I called several places for quotes. All the places I called quoted around the same price, but Sunbusters seemed to be the most knowledgeable. They even told us to come in and look at the shop and available tinting options. They also gave a lifetime warranty on the tinting. When we did stop by they were very professional and explained the different options for our car. We made an appointment for the tint job and when we dropped off the car, it was ready about when they said it would be (a little over 2 hours).

The salesman was courteous and professional (no high pressure) and took the time to explain the benefits of his product. We told him that we were very fussy about our home and that we were looking for qualified, professional installers who would treat our home as if it were their own. We were not disappointed. The job went like clockwork and the installers finished in half a day. Anyone considering window tinting for their home ought to get a free estimate from Jason Yancer at Sunbusters.

Sunbusters did a great job. The window film made an immediate difference and, as requested, it is a non-reflective film. The guys who installed it were very professional, left the completed paperwork to submit for a rebate from Austin Energy, and even moved the Christmas tree back in front of one of the windows.
