It was a very troubling process as I had to constantly stay on them in order to get this done. Save yourself grief by going with another company.

I highly recommend this company! I have had an excellent experience with them. They have been friendly, professional, and hard working.

Initially, they came to do a roof estimate. We had noticed a few tiles falling into our back yard area and wanted to figure out the issue before we had leaking inside. The man sent out was pretty awful. He was throwing down tiles and I caught him through our sky light yanking on some tiles on the roof. I felt super uncomfortable and ran outside to tell him to come down. I explained that I wanted an estimate, not a bunch of bare spots on my roof. After he left, I called the company. The woman who answered the phone was horrified when I told her what happened, explaining that the man who came out had been newly hired, and this was not at all how they did business. Within a few hours Len had come out to check the roof. He could see where the tiles were pulled up and within a day he sent out one of his men to re-tile the spots where the tiles had been removed.  Each person who had come out had explained, however, that we did show hail damage and that my insurance should be contacted and a claim filed.

Fast forward a few days. The owner calls to tell me they will provide a free roof for me. Because someone from their company had tampered with the roof (someone they did let go, although I didn't ask for that outcome!) they felt it was best to absorb the cost and fix my roof. Otherwise, it would be a type of insurance fraud. I never expected or wanted to pay nothing for the roof. And I felt pretty badly about the company paying the entire cost. However, I respect their professionalism and their value on doing the right thing. This shows they are a good company!

In addition, Jennifer who answers the phones would call periodically to let me know where I stood on the schedule and to give me an estimated week for the job to be performed. I appreciated this so much! Rather than making me call in to make sure we weren't forgotten, they continued to keep me in the loop. It was their busy season, being summer, so it took about three to four weeks to get to us, but I didn't mind since I knew they were coming.

The guys who put on the roof worked hard, were friendly, and left the place very clean. Len came out to double check the work. He was great from beginning to end as well!! Every single person we worked with from the owner to the men who did the roofing work were fantastic!

All in all, a wonderful experience with Storm Guard. I have a lot of confidence in this company!

I recently had a roofing inspector come out and do an assessment of my roof. However, instead of simply looking at the roof, he began ripping pieces off the roof and throwing them down. I caught him pulling on tiles very forcefully through my skylight. I immediately explained to him that I was uncomfortable and asked him to come down. By the time he left, I had several tiles on the ground, more loose ones still on the roof and several places where the tiles were sticking up. I initially gave a very poor rating to this company and vowed to never use them.

However, the aftermath has been quite different. The following day I called Stormguard and explained my horrible experience. The first person to answer seemed horrified by my story and quickly explained that this is not normal practice. The general manager called within half and hour and they sent out someone to look at the problem the same afternoon. Everyone agreed that inspectors should take pictures not tear tiles off the roof. The next day someone came out to repair the missing and ripped tiles on the roof. They even followed up with a call to make sure I was satisfied. Every person I have dealt with was professional and understanding. I am very, very happy with how this company responded to a bad situation!

I purchased a LivingSocial deal for this vendor and spent over four months trying to contact them to schedule service, after the company marked the voucher as having been used without my ever even speaking to someone (and before we even had a roof to inspect!). I attempted several times to contact them directly and through LivingSocial with no success (I will also never be using Living Social again). I was finally able to track down a representative who couldn't really help us but promised to and quot;send someone out to take a look at the roofand quot;. We never saw this and quot;someoneand quot;. No one is returning our calls, or answering their phones. To date I have no idea if there was ever an actual service provided because I haven't spoken to anyone who can confirm that they have looked at my roof!
I feel robbed. This was an incredibly frustrating experience and I wouldn't recommend using this company for any reason...if you could even get ahold of someone to schedule a service!

The sales person was very good and helpful. They helped me with the claim and talked to the adjuster to make sure they approved my roof.
They were very courteous and prompt. Once I got the information for the insurance company they built the roof and replaced my gutters. I only paid for the deductible.
When they were done they inspected the work and gave me a report.
I am very happy with them and would use them again.
