Speedy Appliance Fix

The repair person took our new dryer apart, order parts we didn't need, damaged the new parts during installation and left with the parts.  They left the dryer disassembled, would not return any of our calls and never came back to repair.  They charged us $60 for a service call, never correctly diagnosed our problem, took parts from our dryer and left everything apart and not working.  There activity is very suspicious and we will be placing a police report to investigate.  I would not recommend this company to anyone!

I will never use this company for any appliance repair.  Their charge was significantly more than another company and they did not stand by their service.  It was more important for them to go to a new customer rather than to come out to warranty their work.  That resulted in me having to through out ALL of the food I had in my refrigerator. 

I called Speedy Appliance Fix, and they said they could come that very day, with a "service charge" of $35, from which parts/labor would be taken. It sounded about right as the ignitor seemed to be the issue. The gentleman who went to the house called to tell me it would be $280 to fix. He knew nothing about a $35 service charge or taking his labor or parts costs out of this. He took my credit card information, said nothing to my tenant, and walked out the door. He did not do the work. I've been trying to contact either him or the company all day and no one is answering the phone or returning my calls. So far my card  has not been charged. I would neither use this service company again, nor recommend them to anyone.
