They intentionally tried to steal money from me on work that should have been done with notice. Terrible company and customer service. My neighbor warned me about this business and I did not listen. Lesson learned.

"Hello Michelle, you must have us confused with another business. You are not in our customer database, and we have not even completed an Aeration service for any customer in over two months. We have been made aware of a person in South Austin using our business name and he obviously does not provide quality service like we do. Another person is in Georgetown doing the same thing. Unfortunately, this confuses customers and hurts our reputation but there is not much we can do about it. Please reach out to us, to Jenny or Tim in the office at the "Real Southern Lawn Care" you left this review about, 512-501-9783, we would really like to clear this up and get the contact information for the person that you were doing business with to hopefully stop them from using our name, getting us bad reviews & confusing our potential customers. I had a service scheduled for today, May 20th, with Jimmy. Was notified that he was on his way around 11am, and waited until about 3pm to ask if he was still coming by. No response was given whatsoever. Then I felt inclined to check my ring and sure enough he was actually at my house at 11:20ish, scoping out my lawn and backyard. Mind you I was at home the entire time and had no idea he’d even arrived. Anyways, he straight up left and didn’t have the decency to let me know. Im sure they do good work. I would have understood if it was too much to do today, but at least let me know. It felt very unprofessional to ghost me like that.

"Hello, I think you have mistaken us for another company you have been communicating with. We do not have a Jimmy working with us, and never have. We do not have any record of your name in any of our routes. Please look up the company you have been communicating with and leave the review for them. We are located in Northwest Austin, but there is a company in Georgetown that has unethically been using our business name & another person in South Austin doing the same, it may be them. Lawn & Yard Waste Clean Up
My experience with Southern Lawn Care has been extremely disappointing. Not only have all my solar lamps on the lawn been damaged, but their lawn care services have consistently fallen short of expectations. Despite being promised bi-weekly maintenance for both front and backyards, they often only show up every four weeks, neglecting the backyard entirely. When I voiced my concerns to them, they insisted that they spend an hour on my lawn every two weeks. Despite reaching out multiple times with additional concerns, Southern Lawn Care never answered my calls and instead continued to send auto payment bills. As a result, my lawn looks worse than before. I strongly advise against recommending their services.

"This review is intentionally dishonest. The only goal is to harm our reputation. We gave this customer great customer service & communication, quality service & we never made a mistake on the invoicing and payments. The real reason for this review is something called review extortion. When a customer communicates that they want a discount or free service and if they do not receive it, they will punish the company by leaving a bad review. This customer asked for more services to be added to his $40 mowing service, for free. We do not do that. When we declined, he canceled service, did not pay his final bill, and left us a bad review. Some of his other reviews on service companies seem like the same thing to me. If you want great service, call us, we will prove we are one of the best."

Great work, customer service, and very timely responses. Brett and Darren* (i'm bad with names) came out next day with a very fair estimate. They started early the next day on grass, edging, significant weed removal, and trimmed some yucca plants that were absolutely out of control. Top notch.
