.Took 4 trips to get the problem diagnosed and corrected.  Recommendation to replace entire system.

I've had them come back since then, and they have been fine.  Help to save money on filters.

I purchased an Angie's list coupon for $200 worth of services for $100 from this company. When I had a plumbing problem, I gave them a call. They set up the appointment and arrived on time and performed the services requested (fixing the broken faucet). The quality of their work was good.
HOWEVER, the technician who came refused to take our Angies list coupon saying it wasn't a valid coupon. He required us to give him a credit card number then charged us for $100+change of services. He requested we call his managers to discuss the Angie's List coupon. I called once and was told the coupon wasn't valid despite STILL BEING OFFERED ON THE ANGIES LIST WEBSITE. I requested to speak to a manger and was told they would call me back. No call back. I called again, and requested to speak to a manager. The manager said the coupon WAS valid and would credit my card. This never  happened. I called back a 3RD TIME and and was told by the management again that the coupon was valid and again my card would be creditied, but AGAIN it was not. I am now considering the $100 I paid for the coupon a lost cause and I would NEVER recommend anyone use this company. They are either incredibly disorganized or very dishonest. Either way, STAY AWAY.

I started to notice that my AC was not cooling as it use to, so I called Southern Comfort to have them come out.  The Receptionist was very professional she got all my information and had the technician at my house that same day, Needless to say is was a Sunday so I was sure my pocket book was going to be hit hard but to my wonderful suprise there was no extra weekend cost for them to come out.  Once the Tech got to my house I explained to him what was going on he started to check the unit and advised me he was going to to a leak search to see if freon was leaking out, once he found the leak he repaired it and added freon so that the unit would cool like it use to.  Once he was done I had a house with an AC that blows snow balls!!  I only paid 210.00 for these services witch I think is great.   Thank you Southern Comfort!!

I called Southern Comfort because my heater was not working, they sent out a tech within 4 hours of my call.  Ronnie the Tech cleaned my evaporator coil, changed my filter and did a complete heating check of my 15 year old system.  Before he did any work he explained in detail so that I could understand why these service needed to be done.  The total was 280.00 which I think is a very good price because before I had been calling around and most companies charge a service call fee just to go out, when I saw that Southern Comfort didn't charge a service call that closed the deal.  I will use them again when the time comes and will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

The teck called n told me when he was arriving was here right on time he tolld me what he was doin how long he was takin than he went to work on my house, i would deffenitely use n recomend them again

It only took 5 hours to complete and my house was cool again ! THANK YOU SO MUCH  ,SOUTHERN COMFORT !!!

I just bought my home and moved in Feb. 2011. There is an add-on family room that had become unbearably hot during this extreme heat of summer of 2011...and yet the rest of the little house was quite comfortable. The guys from Southern Comfort checked ducts and windows/doors and my AC unit. They measured humidity and temperatures. They checked the insulation and other factors about the attic. They cleaned and serviced my A/C, too. Also for the $89.00 they are coming back in the Fall to service my heating system. The recommendations were very helpful and right on target, I think. They told me that A/C wasn't very old and was in great condition and was large enough to cool the entire house. The reasons they found for my overheating family room were: 1. Ducting was not installed properly and not large enough diameter to cool the added on family room. 2. More attic ventilation was needed for that room. Gable vent was recommended for family room addition. 3. Insulation was old and compressed and most likely the original 1975 from when house was built. The guys NEVER tried to sell me anything. When I asked, they told me that the only recommended work their company does is the duct work. (I later requested a quote. Quote was reasonable and I will have this work done as soon as I can afford it) I was very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, courtesy and friendliness.  

I had a coupon from Angie's List. They were very good. The price was good. We would use them again.

The technician (Ron) arrived a few minutes before the promised arrival, and immediately started working on the A/C. Found the issue in 15 minutes and pointed out that outside unit needed cleaning. The problem was the compressor starting capacitor, which he replaced with a universal model. He offered to return with the factory replacement and clean the system but I declined.  Job  was completed in 1/2 hour. Because I was an Angies list customer, service call was discounted. I was pleased with the service.

My experience with Southern Comfort was outstanding I was about to loose it because of the water leaking in my home I called Southern Comfort they were out within that same hour, (really liked that) they diagnosed that the drain line was clogged they unclogged it for a very reasonable price and got me out of a big headache I would've had if I had not called them and had them come so prompt.  I have told my friends and family about my experience and they automatically ask me for the number to Southern Comfort so needless to say I will continue to recommend them!!!

Went great I called them with my AC problem they came out and fixed the issue.  I really was supprised that they came out so quick and were able to explain what the problem was and I actually understood.  Very pleased with the technician he was very professional and the price for the repair was very cheap being that he did take his time to answer all the quiestions I had.  I will recommend Southern Comfort to all my family and friends.

I used this company before, and called them again when my A/C was not working properly. The technician came to house and told me that my unit was totaled because of external damage. He gave me some expensive estimates from some very poor quality units. I got three other bids and all the other contractors beat Southern Comfort in price and the quality of units I was being offered. I even called to see if I could get a counter bid, but after the salesman came to my house and spent an hour selling me on his product, I never received a estimate. I would not recommend this company.
