Sit-Tight Movers was founded in the midst of the chaos that is 2020 by pure happenstance and a bit of good timing. All three founding members were living in different cities when the Covid-19 Crisis began. All 3 founding members lost their jobs due to the crisis. We 3 came together under 900 Sq Ft rental in east Austin with a collection of odd jobs and side hustles between us. We've grown microgreens, picked up and sold furniture, flipped cars, and eventually, worked for a moving company together. (and so many more different jobs you don't want to know about) We quickly realized the outdated clunkiness of the moving industry here in central Texas and decided, Well hell! We can do better than that! So with a bootstrap business loan and all of our piggy banks put together, we started the Sit-Tight Movers! We pride ourselves on our punctuality and happy demeanor and we can't wait to tackle any apartment job you'll throw at us.
