Sydney sold me a water heater December 2021. 31/2 years later it has completely failed. Sydney will not warrant or otherwise provide good business faith. The Home Depot offers a 6 year warranty and free installation. Average life expectancy of a water heater is 10-15 years. I feel completely scammed. I DO NOT recommend this firm.

Sidney cox has always done a good job on a variety of jobs. Highly recommend him.

Monday morning, Randy and his helper Donnie came out and did the repair quickly and professionally. I was so impressed, I asked Randy to have a look at 2 lavatory drains where the stoppers haven't worked for years. They were missing parts and he quickly gave me an estimate and we scheduled the work for today. Randy and Armand came and once again, totally exceeded my expectations. I'm so delighted that I feel the need to shout their names from the rooftop!

We recently had a foundation repair and had a hydrostatic test performed after. We had a leak somewhere in the outgoing drainage. They came out the day after we called. They used a camera to locate the leak. It was fortunately underneath the master bathtub. They came back two days later and repaired the pipe, it had snapped during the foundation repair. They cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly with my overly rambunctious dogs and were careful about not letting the cat out. I would call them again for any other plumbing needs. This was an issue that could have easily been run up into the thousands.

Excellent. He was professional, quick, and did a great job. Water's back on and we are back to normal after a weekend with no water!

I've used Sidney Cox multiple times for different rental properties.  I call Sidney, give him a description of the work required and he coordinates with the tenant a time for the plumber to visit.  The technician does the work and a few days later I get an invoice in the mail (I used to be local but now I'm out of state).  His employees have always done quality work as far as I can tell (I've never had a tenant complain).  On one occasion, I needed a water heater replaced.  It turned out to be a particularly difficult job, and Sidney himself went to the house to oversee the work.  According to my tenant, they spent considerably more time than I was billed for.
Sidney Cox is my go-to plumber.

I replaced some leaky shower faucets myself and in the process I managed to break the master water valve. The water was flowing at a trickle into the house, so that made the weekend quite challenging.
Knowing my plumbing limits, I called a few top ranked Angie's plumbers. This was Friday about 5:30, so most businesses were closed for the weekend.
I tried Fox but they were booked until Thursday, despite providing emergency 24h service.
I got hold of Sidney from Sidney Cox Plumbing, who answered the phone even though it was after hours for him. He said he can get there Monday morning and told me his cell phone number to send pictures and address.
He originally quoted the price of about $400 for the replacement, but after talking with another plumber I decided to dig out the ground around the valve myself. The other plumber (David from Das Plumbing) suggested this as a time and money saver for the plumber.
I checked with Sidney and he provided the measurements for the whole and confirmed that this will make it cheaper.
I am glad I started this work over the weekend as I had to use some masonry hammer and a hammer drill to break the limestone underneath.
On Monday, I texted Sidney about estimated time, and he said I should be contacted shortly by Randy. Randy indeed called a few minutes later and showed up right around 8. Randy was done in about 30 minutes, so that made the job not too expensive.
I had to pay $50 for a service call fee, $50 for labor and $25 for material.
We now have water flowing full stream again and I was very happy with the services Sidney provided, including his responsiveness over the weekend.

They did a good job and completed the job in a timely manner. They obtained all the required permits.

Overall, I was very satisfied. The only knock I have is that our first initial appointment was a no call no show, but once we had it rescheduled, they where on time, efficent, respectful, and performed high quality work. I would use them again in the future.

Very quick response on Sunday from their website input by me. I told Sidney that I could wait until Monday noon. The worker was perfectly punctual, cut through the wallboard neatly, patched the pipe, cleaned up the mess and left. He helped me clear the air from the pipes and made sure the dishwasher hose had not also been bitten. Started the dishwasher to make sure, since rats had bit through a hose a couple of years ago.

Randy Ivan was on time, quick to fix it and very professional. For what he did, I felt it was a fair price. I got this company from my next door neighbor who recommended them to me. I have a leak under my sink now and I will be calling them again.
