SCOTT COLLARD HOME IMPROVEMENTS INC

We were referred to Scott Collard Home Improvement by an architect we met up with to discuss our upper and lower decks. We met with Scott and found him to be professional, attentive to detail, and friendly. We had decided to replace all our decking with IPE (Brazilian hardwood), to install leaf guard gutters, design and install a pergola that spans the entire length of the upper deck, install wrought iron railings on both decks and redesign a staircase leading from the deck downstairs to the ground. Our upper deck is approximately 33' long and the lower deck about 23' long. On both decks, ceiling fans were installed. Scott's crews are professional and very timely....when Scott says 8:30 to 9:00 they show up...almost as important is that they cleaned up after each day's work. Impressive!

There were 3 crews that performed the work: the 1st crew removed the old columns and installed the cedar columns, the 2nd crew stained the columns, and the 3rd crew installed the stone base. Everyone involved in the work was highly skilled, efficient, and courteous and friendly. There were a few details that had to be touched up or checked on along the way, all done promptly and without hassle or complaint. Scott, the owner of the business, managed the process smoothly and professionally.
