The work that he did on my home went great. I then had them come out and give a bid on some work at the home that I am moving to. I had gotten a written bid/contract for the last job and trusted that what was discussed was our verbal contract. He committed to 2-3 men working 1-2 days on a big clean up job of overgrown yard for a set price. He sent 2 employees for 1 day and then tired to bill me for the full price .... needless to say I only paid half of the verbal bid !!! In saying this, it is hard for me to recommend someone that I trusted and tried to take advantage of me !!

Mr. Chavez had come to our attention as the result of a reference from Tom Rosenthal of Landscape With Nature who had initially landscaped our property. Mr. Rosenthal has used Mr. Chavez services on numerous occasions. Last year we had called upon Mr. Chavez to reposition the sprinklers which had been installed by the developer before the drought commenced. He impressed us with his professionalism and very reasonable charges.

When it became clear that water restrictions were going to be imposed for sometime to come, we contacted Mr. Chavez. Even though it was a holiday weekend Mr. Chavez came to our house the next day and commenced the installation the day after the legal holiday. He completed the job expeditiously and made sure that we understood how the system works. We are very pleased with the result.

It should be pointed out that we have a reasonably heavily landscaped property of approximately .33 acres. Mr.Chavez does not take credit cards to the best of our knowledge but does take checks; he does not ask for all the money upfront. Mr.Chavez' English is not perfect but his wife who runs the office is there to assist, if need be.

From what we gather Mr.Chavez has customers numbering in the three digits and that he customarily gets new ones through recommendations.
