RUDY GARCIA PLUMBING

I have used Rudy for the past 10-15 years. He is knowledgeable, experienced, hard working, ethical and conscientious... and he does good work. I trust him and would even feel comfortable giving him a key to the house if I couldn't be there. In the area of constructive criticisms, I think he could improve on timeliness.

We have an older house (1961), and the plumbing is mostly original (but well maintained). We tend to collect a handful of issues before calling a plumber, and then get them all fixed in a single visit. Rudy's experience has saved us a lot of pain because he knows the older fixtures and is able to find the higher quality original parts rather than doing short term patches with cheap generic replacement parts. He is patient and takes the time to explain the what and why, so I feel like I know my house and what is needed in the future.

When you hire Rudy, you get Rudy and not some random associate. I like that. I also like the fact that I'm not paying for schedulers, warehouse managers, and corporate overhead. I pay for Rudy.

The downside is that he doesn't have as much flexibility to balance workload. If he gets five calls in one day then he has to negotiate who can be seen and when it will be... and if one job takes longer than expected then the follow-on jobs have to be rescheduled. Rudy compensates by looking at urgency (is water gushing?), and then stopping by for a short term patch to hold things until he can return for the long-term fix. I have also known Rudy to admit that he can't provide timely help, and he referred me to another plumber.

Rudy and his assistant were on time, went right to work locating the best spot to cut through the wall to gain access to the plumbing. They diagnosed the problem and promptly replaced the fitting then carefully cleaned up and removed the trash. I was shown the old fitting and the joint where it had failed, they sweated a new fitting and used PEX tubing to complete the repair. There is no doubt I will use Rudy again if the need arises.

I was recommended Rudy Garcia Plumbing by friends. I used him on multiple occasions, but now I am a Angie's list member and want to explain the work. He is a professional who does excellent quality. On my last occasion, he was out of town, but send his associate and work was performed in a quality / professional manner. Old washing machine faucets and plumbing was performed in a quality manner. I recommend Rudy Garcia Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing work at residence. Mr. Rudy Garcia is trustworthy and will try to meet his schedules committed.

We called Rudy to install 2 bidets, which are plastic attachments that sit on top of your regular kumod. These are not the stand alone european bidets, but just an attachment with seperate hose for folks who like water rather than paper.Rudy came promptly , had all the tools and as he worked that evening, realized that one of the bidets had a faulty hose and connector. He worked till 9 pm, tried to go to the store to find replacement and finally could not. He promised us we woul dnot be charged extra for those hours he spent trying to fix it. We then shipped the part back and got replacement 1 week later. He did not take any money the first time and preferred to finish it off before charging us. So he returned next week, fitted bidet, drained out 3 of our pipes and charged us only for 2 hours of work....Highly recommened.

The experience was pleasant compared to experiences with other plumbers

I am awaiting his bill. He does the job and does it early. He doesn't rip you off. I would tell others to definitely check him out. As far as responsiveness, we played phone tag. I would use his service again in the future.

I was very satisfied with what he did. He was diligent and he did his utmost. He cleaned up his job site. He was recommended by a friend who had used him in his rental property. He was recommended that he was necessarily going to do the simple inexpensive things, but that he would work to solve the problem.

They came right away and were very efficient - I didn’t have to wait long for them at all. Their price of about $120 was not very much. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

He is very honest and reasonable. He is very on task the whole. He is very professional. And very knowledgeable. He knows exactly what he is doing. He fixed the problem that no one could.

Pipe beneath my tub suddenly started to leak, on second floor, through my ceiling on first floor. Rudy came out, cut a hole in the ceiling to replace pipe, and drove to the store to get new parts. Was on the job for about two hours. The price was fair given the work involved. Great honest plumber. He's done other work for me, too, in the past like install hot water heater, all for about 50 percent less than other plumbers.
