Went great! Very knowledgeable. Solved a problem that another contractor could not with ease. Definitely recommend.

This was a straightforward job -- we remodeled our kitchen and just needed him to hook up our pipes, disposer, and dishwasher. He gave us a quote beforehand, which was very good compared to other quotes we received, came on time and completed the work promptly. We actually had him come out twice, because the dishwasher was hooked up after the rest of the plumbing, and he accommodated us nicely. Everything looks good and functions properly. He even drilled the holes and hooked up the tube from the water filter to the icemaker. The only sore spot I have is this: he recommended we use copper tubing for the icemaker line, which he said is better for the water quality, and left it for us on his first visit, but then the second time out he installed the plastic tubing that we'd had before -- and he'd already charged us for the copper. It was maybe a $15 difference in price, so it wasn't huge, it just seemed...odd. Update: Our dishwasher, which he tested and worked when he left, now has problems closing properly. On examination, we see that the dishwasher was put in crooked (and loose?) ...just enough that after the door was opened and closed multiple times, the door started hitting the side of the bracket (between the dishwasher and the cabinet next to it). So the door closes, but only after pulling it to the right. We're thinking we can fix this once we pull the unit out and re-sit it, but what an annoyance. On the other hand, all of the plumbing lines work well -- so maybe we'd call him again for "pure" plumbing jobs, but not something additional.

I had originally not intended to replace my disposal after removal of the old sink, but when Mr. Dennis got ready to re-connect it to the new sink, he realized that it was very corroded and worn-out after 13 years of use. I bought a replacement disposal at the local Lowe's, and he installed it along with my new faucet and sink connections. I am very pleased with his work--all new parts are working very well and were solidly installed. I expect many years of satisfaction with their performance.
