RENAISSANCE GLASS is very professional: quick and detailed response, good price, on-time, high quality finish, cleaned up after the work. Saved us lots of money and hassle by restoring our front door to the orignial.
Longer version:
We just moved into this house and it has a front door with a large piece of leaded panel. The panel is composed of many small pieces of glasses separated/supported by lead/metal frames. We like it very much but during the move the wind blew the door closed and hit it so hard that the center piece (oval shape and about 10and quot; long) splattered.
At first we thought we will have to throw the door away and get a new one, which easily costs over 1K with the ones we like. We then decided to see if we can find some shops that can do the repair. I searched online and found Renaissance Glass with good reviews. Contacted them and Gabe responded right away with a clear quote, which is much less than replacing the whole door. Gabe also was very patient and discussed with us on all the options available. After we made up our mind he then made an appointment with us.
On the appointment day the repair guy actually showed up an hour earlier (sorry cannot remember his name but he was a really nice guys too). He called us in advance and asked if he can come an hour earlier since other work finished earlier, very polite. He then detached the front door and work on it on our driveway for solid two hours. After it's fixed he put the door back and cleaned up after himself. Very smooth and professional. The only thing I want to mention is that there were some small glass shatters left by the front door way after he left. These were not from the original event because we cleaned it up really good. It's no big deal though and probably had just escaped from him since these were pretty small.
Over all, very nice and professional service, highly recommended!!

When Geoff came out he noticed a couple of other problems and said it would take a little longer than first thought and the cost might increase $20-30. He completed the job and to my surprise the cost came in at $181. The workmanship was excellent. The communication and job performance was very professional. I am very pleased with the final result and would use Renaissance again if the need arose.

Kirsten was awesome from start to finish! We knew we wanted something special for our fireplace units but found plain glass panels were not going to look right (we wanted some privacy for what was behind the glass). Through a stroke of luck we came across Kirsten! She was wonderful. We didn't know exactly what we wanted so Kirsten patiently helped us pick out the glass we thought we would like and what kind of a design we roughly thought we would like. Getting our e-mail address (though she said not to worry if we didn't have one) she said she would get a design to us in a few days. Sure enough, two days later we had our design. It was fantastic! Totally wonderful customer service throughout the whole process. Even when our cabinet maker gave us problems with the doors Kirsten worked with us every step of the way to ensure the stained glass would fit perfect. She even made sure they were done before my parents came to visit. Definitely true old school good quality work.
