Reliant Pools

We did extensive research to find the right pool builder. Ultimately, we chose Joel at Reliant Pools. We chose Joel for a few reasons. (1) He had many years of experience and we felt confident in his judgement, techniques, equipment, and materials. (2) He seemed to be very concerned with the quality of the product he produced. We signed the contract on February 1st. After permits and HOA approval, excavation started on March 1st. We were swimming by Memorial Day weekend. Joel really went above and beyond to take care of us. When we were out of town when the gunite needed to be watered, Joel came out and watered it for the better part of a week. Also, when we chose the wrong color for the decking, Joel resprayed it to a new color free of charge. Also, any time during the construction where we had questions or concerns, he would always meet us at our house the next morning. In the end, our pool turned out great -- we've enjoyed it all summer. We really feel that we have a quality pool that we will enjoy for a long time. We would recommend Joel and Reliant Pools.

Extremely impressed with Reliant Pools. We got bids from four companies before deciding to move forward with them - even though they weren't the lowest bid. Joel is highly knowledgeable and Donny is beyond attentive to customer needs, questions and requests. We're very happy with the final result and it's easy to recommend Reliant to others.

David Akins and Reliant Pools did a fantastic job on our pool build. David did a great job on the design and proposal. He listened to what we wanted and made recommendations based on his experience, but was not pushy. He always told us the "why" for various choices. We talked to 3 builders and David's design nailed it. I was also pleased that David was on-time (15 min early) for every meeting.
When David started construction, everything was scheduled out from demolition to finish. We hit a few delays due to weather and that caused some tasks to get juggled, but there was never any significant downtime.
The demolition, excavation, framing and rebar happened one task after another. His crew was very professional and worked full-time right thru. David had plumbing done right after. Gunite was shot just 2 weeks after David started work.
The mason crew that did all the tile, coping, the decking, and patio grill was exceptional. I am very pleased with the brick work. The lines are precise and the new brick work blends seamlessly with the existing house. I especially like how they matched the style of the brickwork to the existing house with soldier courses, and corner details they did without even asking. About the only issue that came up was rain delays pushed the mason crew so they had stop work for the KoolCote decking to finish. As soon as the decks were done, the mason returned and finished out the bbq.
We had a small wait for the plaster company, just because they were booked out several weeks, but again, very pleased with the final result.
The job was completed on schedule, even with rain delays. Everything started up in working order, no leaks!
Overall I am very pleased with Reliant Pools and David Akins. I highly recommend them for you pool build!
