Warning: the sales and design process is slick, but what you
receive in the end is nothing like what was promised. See ours and other reviews on the web.
We signed contracts with QSI to provide and install
cabinetry for most of our house, close to $100K. Though the cabinets were partially delivered
in August 2013, as of today, the
installation is still incomplete, with cabinets strewn about the house and
deposits paid for items where they never even started production. Their inability to retain employees (multiple
employees have resigned and installers refuse to work with them--three quit
half way through our job), has left our house and investment in total
disarray. Sadly, after speaking with
former employees and seeing other customers? reviews, our poor experience seems
to be the norm. This came as a shock to
us because we started out really enjoying working with the owner, who we were
initially very impressed with, but communication after the "sales
process" was very poor - basically unresponsive. The other owner (his wife) runs the
production/installation side and is highly combative, and will deny any
responsibility before she even hears what the problem is! When they failed to deliver the cabinets, she
even accused others of theft of various cabinet parts, when her own
installers/employees suggested they never sent the items. We also found random cabinets from other jobs
(other houses unrelated to ours) delivered to our house and mixed in with our
cabinets. We personally gave these
erroneous items back to her, yet she still refused to admit the obvious?it was
a total mess and they weren?t able to keep track of which parts were sent to
which job.
Other companies, like our granite provider, had to recut the
granite to accommodate incorrect face frame depths of QSI cabinets and also
expressed dismay at ?what QSI has turned into?.
There have been so many issues, we needed to hire a 3rd party inspector
to do QA on what was wrong with the job and he found so many items the list
covered five single spaced pages! The
inspector summed it up by saying ?I?m sorry, but you didn?t anything close to
what you paid for?.
Due to the mismanaged project (lack of project management,
from employees resigning) and complete lack of willingness to fix the problems
despite multiple pleas to do so, we finally needed to file a suit in small
claims court for the incomplete installation and incomplete delivery (several
cabinets). Now STILL, we have reached
out again twice to no avail. We are
saddened that it is going in the direction of the courts, but feel we have no
other options left to pursue.
These are some pictures of their work and the state they
left the house in. Please contact us for
further information about our experience.
We do not recommend anyone spend their hard earned money with this
disingenuous company that is all sales, no delivery.

The cabinets are top grade and all of them have built in draws. This company is awesome as if something where to go wrong, they would replace it for free. They are real good and I will use them in every house that I own.
