Just want to share my review of a business that you should stay away from. I posted this on their google reviews and will post it anywhere else I can. The not so short story: Our mini split fell off the pool house wall. Had it the unit been installed professionally, it would not have fallen off the wall (even they say units do not just fall). They are accusing us of hitting it with a motorcycle and causing it to fall. If you know my house, you know that nobody goes behind the pool house and we don't have a motorcycle and nobody has ever ridden one here either or been riding anything else for that matter as the kids can't even use the four wheeler right now. Not to mention, something hitting the AC with enough force to knock it off the wall would injure or even kill them or damage the thing they were riding- we would know, it would also damage the unit. There was zero damage to the unit, it simple fell and the fall was slowed/softened by the connecting wires. John had to mow just for the tech to go look at it, hence the tracks he saw - that were clearly not close enough to hit the unit as is obvious from the pics we had sent them. But anything to get out of taking responsibility. Then they did repairs without giving me an estimate to fix it, just billed me $811. I would not have fixed it, as we already have spent a lot on repairs and put a window unit in there due to the times it didn't work. I'm pretty furious. The first picture with John in it is the mower tracks they are calling motorcycle tracks, it's obviously freshly mowed and the tracks are VERY OBVIOUSLY not near enough to hit the unit even if you were on a motorcycle. QLS says they installed according to industry standards, via directly into the siding and OSB and not into studs. People should be aware that their unit may or may not be securely and safely installed. You actually can see the many holes they attempted before giving up but not letting us know they didn't, so that actually shows that the tech did think he should find studs, but didn't care enough when they struggled to tell us or employ other methods to secure a safe install. Of course, we would have no way of knowing of an issue until it fell, which happened to be over 5 years later, well after the warranty period of course. Our full review: We hired QLS to install a mini split for us in our pool house in 2017, we had a few issues taken care of by other companies throughout the years. Nothing was ever noted that installation was done poorly or incorrectly, as you can’t see into the wall to know until after what happened as that could not be seen. Fast forward about 5 years, and the unit on the back of the house fell off the wall, causing damage to the electrical wiring and copper tubing. We contacted QLS for service to look at the unit, determine why it had fallen and to see if it could be repaired. QLS did come out this time and re-hung the unit, stating it wasn’t bolted into any studs and only the siding and the OSB. The technicians couldn’t get the unit working on the first visit. They dropped off the disconnect breaker at the door to my kids and said they didn’t have one. I was able to test the breaker and determine it was functional and opened the cover for the electrical wiring and found the supply wiring was not visible as it pulled into the flex conduit coming from the disconnect to the unit. I re-terminated the wiring and the unit powers up but won’t blow cold air. I let QLS know what I found and they said they would come back out. The tech on the second visit ended up fixing the unit letting us know the copper tubing was crushed and all the refrigerant had leaked out, was able to un-kink the tubing and recharge the system. They later sent an invoice for $811, without ever confirming the estimate with us prior to fixing the unit or even giving us a clue as to what it might cost. We would NOT have approved of that cost. We would have said we do not need the unit anymore, we already have a window unit in there from the other times it did not work. As you can see in these recent pics, there is no damage to the unit, and you can't even get close enough to hit it because of the roofing materials on the ground you would drive over, and you would be so close to the wall, there would probably end up being wall damage unless you were just that good, in which case, you wouldn't have hit the ac. We feel this should have been communicated better and honestly feel taken care of by the company, not because they had to or it was under warranty. Obviously, it wasn't by this time. But more to do with the fact that properly installed units do not just fall off walls for no reason. It wasn’t neglect or even an accident on our part. Even QLS admits that units do not just fall off the wall, and they provided some pretty wild hypotheses as to how a motorcycle driving through our yard knocked it off the wall, while not physically damaging the units frame or coil fins, not even a scratch on the paint. (We do not own a motorcycle, the marks the tech saw were clearly from mowing the area so that the tech could access the unit). If the owner would have really analyzed the images we sent, he would see that it's technically impossible for the unit to have been hit due to placement and tracks. Well played QLS, doing some questionable work in hopes that by the time anyone notices, you can technically and legally claim it's not your problem anymore. Image with my husband standing there shows the freshly mowed grass and mower tracks that are obviously not close enough to hit the unit. The other images are more recent for reference, showing the distance from the tracks to the unit and the unit itself having NO DAMAGE, which it WOULD have had it been hit by something hard enough to knock it off the wall.

It went great. It was a complicated diagnosis between two HVAC systems to determine why the static air pressure was too high. QLS was very knowledgeable and saved me from have to have a new plenum rebuilt. Fantastic to deal with. Very professional even when I started to get anxious because I didn't understand. Great service. Will use again.

They were recommended by our realtors who helped us buy the house. The service has been great. We haven't noticed any issues with the air flow and things have been working fine. We have compared the price and the price has been great. They worked quickly and got the work done.

Basically, the ducts that they installed did not work at all, and they
left a bunch of trash from the job up in the attic. Apparently, whomever installed the ducts never checked to make sure they were blowing air. When I called and asked them to fix the problem, they showed up over an hour late and consequently did
not have enough time to do the repair. The next day I actually had to negotiate
with the owner of the company for them to agree to come back and fix their poor
work. After several scheduling difficulties we finally got someone out to fix
the problem. The person they sent seemed like a decent and competent guy who convinced us that we
should move one of the preexisting ducts to improve overall airflow. So, we
actually agreed to pay QLS more money to fix this problem. The young man
explained that they did not have the necessary tools for this type of fix and
that QLS would call us to schedule a time to come by to do the repair. Four
days went by, no call. I called and left a message with them at the end of the
week. We have never received a response. This is the worst experience I have
ever had with a service company. In short, QLS did awful work on a very small
project and exerted a hobbled effort to repair the problem, which untimely
ended in almost a week of no communication and an unreturned phone call. The ducts they installed still do not work so we now have to hire someone else to fix this problem. If this is how they do business with a simple duct instillation, I
can’t imagine the job they must do for full system overhauls or major installations.
Based on my experience, I would recommend that others stay clear of this
company.

KC walked me through the mathematics of various scenarios for my cooling needs.
He carefully described how things installed and what to expect.
Installation went exactly as planned. On time, courteous, could answer questions on installation, demonstrated how they had sealed leaks in the house for modern architecture to keep HVAC in the house.
When I call for service, they are prompt, fix the issues, and can explain how they did so.
Very knowledgeable, diligent, and hardworking.

I have used QLS service my ac unit to ensure it was fine for the upcoming season. They were there on time and did everything and explained and tested my system. I have used them several times last year and they provided me honest, quality work. I will use them all the time. If you want good quality then go with QLS.

I've paid 50% so far. The experience has been great. I worked with the head service guy. His name is Luke. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He kept me very aware of what was going on so I was never without knowing what was going on for more than a day or two. They showed up on time and the workers seemed very productive. They got it all done in two days. They coordinated the rebate program and gave me all the knowledge I need to make a good decision on which route to take to get the best use of my money. I should get about $2,000 back in rebates.

When our air conditioner finally failed, we had QLS do the replacement. We had a compressor failure several years ago and while waiting on the home warranty contractor to replace it, we talked to four other contractors about repair or replacement of the system. At the time, they were the only contractor who told us that since we are having the compressor replaced and everything else was in good working order that we might do better to get a few more years out of the system. In addition, they were the only ones who actually examined the house, reviewing air duct locations and sizes and ceiling heights before making recommendations of what they would suggest to replace it. All of the others simply asked how many square feet the house was and what size the previous system was.
Since that time, we have had them doing all of our heating and AC service for us. So when the compressor finally failed again, we called them first. They provided three price ranged packages and explained the differences of each. We did some quick price comparison and found them to be reasonable and went with the middle option.
They showed up on time (the next day) and completed the installation that day. I believe one of the installers was new with the company and there were some questions. Their supervisor came by later to check on things and even though everything was working, he came back to make some changes that he felt should be made.
That was almost one year ago. I am afraid I can't remember lots of details, but I do remember them being on time, being polite, answering questions, and cleaning up when they were done. The system has been working just fine and unless something changes, I plan to keep using QLS for any future heating or AC needs.

Not well. Repairman showed up 4 hours late and spent 30 minutes searching for a problem. When he couldn't find anything, he flipped the breaker. The A/C came back on and he charged us $70 for addressing the symptom but not the problem. The A/C has now quit twice more since he left.

They are good and accommodating. They gave us advice on getting the filters at a good rate and fixing them ourselves instead of having them come over. Their price was very reasonable. They worked with us every day during the installation. Their charges to service our earlier heating and A/C systems were also reasonable. We haven't had any problems with them. We have recommended them to other people.

Everyone was very knowledgeable and professional. The installers were exceptionally great. Our attic is a tiny, low-slope space, and they spent three days up in the heat. They worked out a special plan for such an unusual installation. We were very impressed.

I had to leave a voice mail when I called first thing this morning (Saturday), but was contacted shortly after that. He estimated what time he could arrive later in the day. Called as they headed in my direction and arrived on time. He quickly found the cause of the problem, then followed up with a general check of the system to ensure it was operating properly and took care of a couple of other small problems he found. They had come out to provide an estimate on a replacment system a couple of years ago. (that has not happened yet so still a 12+ year old system) They made a very good impression at that time which is why I looked them up today. This service call experience today reaffirmed that first impression of the company. Responsive, knowledgeable, pleasant to deal with and fairly priced. I will be calling them for any future service needs and they will be first in line when it comes time to replace the system.
