Pounds Floor & Tile

I got them off of Angie's List. They were excellent. I have recommended them to other people too. They did an excellent job and they completed it on time. They didn't charge me anything more than their estimate.

Excellent service. I like their friendliness, promptness and thoroughness. They did a great job on the flooring that we had them installed. They're just good people to work with.

I had to delete my review of Pounds flooring after the horrible job they did on our master bathroom shower. I only got to use the shower for 7 months before it leaked into our hallway and living room warping the floors. I contacted Jonathan and told him that our floors were wet and if he could come by and look. He showed up and we ended up cutting two very large holes in my sheetrock so we could determine it was his faulty shower install and not the plumbing. I turned the shower on and with in 10 seconds the water was coming from under the shower walls. At this point he said he would get it fixed and let me know. I waited using another shower in my home for 6 months for him to repair it. I even told him I would bust out the old shower if would just come put it in. I jackhammered the whole shower only to find there was not a liner under ant of the layers of concrete. I told Jonathan what i had found and this is the reason that the shower is leaking. He told me "Yeah I should of water tested that." I finally got tired of waiting for Pounds Flooring to fix the problem and had to hire someone else. Jonathan did drop off the same tile that was used so it could match but i still spent $1,000 on parts and labor to be able to use my shower. I attempted to call Rusty Pounds ,the owner, and left a message with the receptionist. No return call from him either. I called because the new tile guy told me he is fixing more showers for Pounds flooring. I just happen to hire the same guy who was fixing more of their mistakes. I would not use this company for anything in the future. The only thing that was done right is the laminated floors they installed which are now warped. I left my old review up for as long as I could thinking someone would contact me. After leaving the first review up for a year and not having anything done about it is just bad business. Especially after Jonathan told me all the business he got because of my first review of their company.

Great job. Excellent price. Prompt and courteous. Plus they did the whole job in one day.

Great experience. Over three days time, our entire home was stripped of old carpeting and new laminate was installed. Pounds has a long history of flooring and had some great suggestions not only related to the material to use, but also the exact way to install it to insure the best lasting enjoyment. The workers were professional and worked extremely hard morning to evening. The owner of the company came to our home to inspect the completed job. I'd do it again. I'll definately use them when we replace our bathroom vinyl to tile.
