Mark did OK up to a point.  His subcontractors for electric and plumbing performed; but, the job was never finished.  They mistakenly removed four coping tiles from the edge of the pool, that should have been retained.  Mark took one of broken bullnosed tiles as a sample, and said he would return. Also, they did not install the cups for tying the safety ropes.  After numerous phone calls, he quit answering when we called.  He has never finished the job.

Our experience with them was great, wonderful. Their price is reasonable. We can count on them. They are on time. They seem to be honest.

I purchased an existing home with a pool, and it looked like the pool hadn't been used much in the last few years -- plaster was coming up, the gauge on the pump was rusted into unreadability, and when it was running, the pump sounded awful. I decided to get multiple bids on the replastering/repair, since it's a pretty expensive job.
It took me longer to get the bids together than it did for Paradise Pools to finish the job -- Mark was responsive right from the start. The other firms -- well, one never called me back, and the other took about two weeks to get an estimate, and I had a bid from the firm that inspected the pool prior to purchasing the house. The bid from Paradise Pools was was far below the competitors, even though Mark had a longer list of items he thought needed repair/replacing. (And by "far below" I mean several of the individual items -- lights, split drain -- were half or less than the other bidders.)
Mark and his crew are unbelievably fast; they had the pool drained, chipped, replastered (actually hydroquartz'ed), retiled and refilled in less than a week. Mark was also very helpful with advice/guidance about the pros and cons of pebbletec/quartz/plaster, and the impact of color choices. The finished pool looks fantastic! It's still a little too chilly to use the pool, and I only just got the propane to run the heater, but I'm looking forward to my brand-new looking pool!

We were very happy with the way the construction went. They had an organized supervisor who kept things running smoothly for the most part. The materials were kept out of the rest of the yard and the few problems that occurred with other sub-contractors were dealt with quickly and efficiently. It took about two months to complete and we use the pool as much as we can.
