Quick work, good pricing, good communication

I hired Jamie for a tree removal service, which was performed as agreed upon. The trees were removed, the haul-away was completed and am very happy with the service. The price and service were great!

I hired this tree trimming service and was initially very pleased with the work they did, the team showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left my yard looking much cleaner than before. I especially appreciated their sincerity during the job, and even gave them an extra $20 as a token of gratitude. However, I was disappointed that not all the agreed-upon work was completed. I had clearly walked Jaime through all the areas that needed attention beforehand. When I followed up to have the remaining work finished,as had been promised, Jaime responded by treating it as a brand-new project and denied that anything was left undone. That response felt dismissive and not in line with the sincerity they initially showed. While I acknowledge the good work that was done, I’m sharing this experience so future customers are aware and can ensure expectations are crystal clear and documented upfront. I hope the team takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements in how they follow through.

Ortiz Brothers Tree Service was great. Jamie came by and looked at my 4 live oak trees and listened to what I wanted done and then recommended a few other branches that needed to come out. They returned on the date and time we agreed. He and his team did the job quickly, 3 hours. They cleaned all of their equipment before that started and they sealed all of the cuts, due to us having oak wilt in our neighborhood. They cut all of the limbs at the collars, like they should be, not the way the City of Austin's contractors do. They cut out all of the dead wood and thinned out the insides of the canopy. We had them cut a couple of larger low laying branches as well. They managed to get the limbs cut that went over our fence without having to go into our neighbors yards. They only had 2 branches that they could not get this way and removed them from my neighbors yards as well. They cleaned everything up and raked my yard to remove all of the little stuff. Great people to deal with.

My trees were cut very well and they did not wreck the place. I had a live oak that had substantial overgrowth from the last ice storm damage that they thinned drastically. I would hire them again.

Jaime responded to my request for a quote very quickly and was able to meet the same day. He walked me around my front and back yard and gave his recommendations and was very helpful. His pricing was fair and his team was able to come out the next day to perform the work. The trees look so much healthier and cleaned up and I am very happy with the results. I had received a notice from the city of Austin that my trees needed to be cut 14 ft above the street level. I have 11 30 year old oaks out there, street side. Mr. Ortiz waited until I got my car in the shop and then he met me. He gave me a quote, and I was very HAPPY with his work. He followed my instructions very well, and he was very courteous, and thorough. Because I have so many trees on the property, I let him know, I will be calling him again.
