Cy Megnin was 45 minutes late for the noon appointment.  After appt. time had passed I called and left message asking if we needed to reschedule. Within 10 minutes of my call I did receive a msg that due to a work emergency that morning he would be running late. He noted that he had difficulty contacting us due to need to go thru Angie's list email.
Cy was pleasant and professional in his approach to analyze my wish list. We talked about the various items I was interested in and he gave me a rough cost estimate for the work and encouraged me to prioritize my list.  He also pointed out several options that could reduce the cost and the length of time of the remodel.  He stated that my kitchen drawing was what he would have provided under the purchased service so I asked and he agreed to do the plan for the guest bath remodel.
It has now been over two weeks since the appt and have not heard back from One Call.  At this time I have not received the plan for the bath remodel.  (I view within two weeks as a fair response time. More 30 days would be lousy.)

We never heard back from him again so we haven't really proceeded to anything, we haven't got any estimates.

It worked out fine. They did a good job painting. It just seemed like they sent some people off that normally didn't paint because it was an Angie's List deal and they took forever to paint one room, but they did a great job. They just took a lot longer than I thought it would. They came out almost immediately after I purchased the deal.

They helped us with the design of the kitchen and sourcing the materials.  I was very impressed with the process, Cy gave very good points on things to do and things to not do based on what we were trying to accomplish. 
They made sure everything was in the house before they started making the process of being out of our kitchen much shorter. 
I would not hesitate to  recommend One Call Property Services and have several times already. 

He took measurements only after I prompted him by saying I wanted everything measured, instead of just the floor and counter tops, which he suggested. He gave very little ideas as to what I could do. His ideas he did give were only after I gave an idea of what I could do. He made me feel as though he did not want to be there. After he sent that last email, I just stopped communicating with him. I should not have to be so persistent to get him to comply with that deal. I've used two services off your list and I am very dissatisfied. I was supposed to get reimbursed for a deal I paid for, but was told by the provider, I did not need his services but another type of service provider. I still think he could have come out and provided his service and told me about getting the other service provider. I am working on my house to sell it, and it would be nice to know before an inspection, how my foundation is. When a provider refuses to provide a service you need to have a system in place were they let you know, and the member can get reimbursed without having to go through all that you have been putting me through, without giving my money back. And I have called and talked to two people on the phone, and I still have no idea if you are going to give my money back, or what I need to do to get it back. This was a total waste of time and money.

Sy and Andrea run the co. and they are clearly there to make sure everything is done right. Sy came by a few times to check on the job and to make sure I was happy. They will do all of my future painting.

We are pleased to say Cy @ "One Call Property Services" did a great job in our home.  The galley kitchen and breakfast room were in need of some fresh paint so we gave Cy a try. Once the job was completed there was not a drop of paint or a speck of dirt noted anywhere in our home.

Cy arrived on time and started work right away. His work area was well organized and remained so during the entire job. I had 3 similar colors that were to be used for this project so needless to say I expected to pay an additional fee for this request.  Well no fee was charged and Cy seemed surprised that a service provider would charge extra just to stir up another can of paint.

Cy worked the entire time he was here and finished in the amount of time advertised. He cleaned everything up and left the work area spotless.

How did I find Cy and One Call Property Services?

I received an email one day from the "Angie's Big Deal" program. "One Call Property Services" offered 4 hours of painting for $99 so I purchased the deal. This Big Deal allowed me to try out a new service provider without spending a lot of money.  Now that we know what to expect Cy will be getting more work requests from us.

In fact we just scheduled another paint project and a sheet rock repair/replacement due to a leak in our chimney. I am certain that these additional projects will be done well and on time.

He arrived on time and did the work satisfactorily.  It was a tiny powder room, so there was not a lot of painting to do, but there was a ton of cutting in, and very little space to work in.  He took about 2 1/2 hours and cleaned everything up afterwards.  Very courteous, very professional.  I hope to use him again when we need some bigger jobs.

I contacted Cy on a Wednesday and asked if he could come in 2 days (very short notice). Happily, he said yes :)  He came, painted and left everything in great order. His impeccable attention to detail was very much appreciated.  It was such a relief to have the work done quickly so I could get everything back together in one day

`Cy was great he responded to the bid immediatstely and came out the next day.  I wanted to add a shower in an under stairs storage area adjacent to a powder room.  Cy looked at the space and told me why that was not a good or adequate space for a shower.  He expalined to me what I would need to do if I wanted to add a shower, which included expanding into the dining room.  I opted not to pursue the shower.  He was very professional in all his advice which was very good.  The only thing that didn't go as well was getting a  bid to do the work we talked about in a timely manner.  2  other contractors gave me a bid much sooner and when I did get Cy''s bid I went with one of the others because they came in with a lower and complete bid and could start the work sooner.  I would use Cy again and used consider using him in the future.

They did a fabulous job. There was great attention to detail and very precise work that was just fabulous. They painted a smooth coat all across the spectrum of the job.

Prior experience with the half-bath remodel and office tiling was outstanding - timely and responsive interactions, quality work, very professional. 
Unfortunately, lately been having difficulty getting the bids back on our currently planned bathroom remodel.  Have had several emails without replies, bids promised that have not been provided.  Would really, really like to use Cy again, but am now hesitant to commit to any work (assuming we could get the bid, first,) in case we end up having trouble getting the job started or finished on schedule.  This has been a significant departure from our first experience.

I purchased a $99 One-Room Painting Deal on Angie's List.com.  Cy (owner) was very responsive and setup the work within 1 week of me calling him.  Cy also showed up and started his guys, which I appreciated.  Finally, I had some smudges and spots that didn't dry well and Cy was ready and willing to come out and patch them up nicely.  I'm very satisfied with the level of service and professionalism.

Great - Cy Megnin is very professional, punctual.  His subcontractors did a good job and met our expectations.  Cost was reasonable.

I really enjoyed working with One Call because they did a wonderful job. He built a very special cabinet that was different and unique, he did a beautiful job. Their estimates were always right on the money and they were very nice guys, their professionalism was very good.
