The company gave us the time and date we wanted even though we called at the last minute. The truck arrived on time, the men were friendly, courteous and professional. They moved our items in a deliberate and careful manner and made the experience pretty care-free. These young men were the best! I would definitely use North Star again and/or refer them to my friends.

Our move was made incredibly easy thanks to NorthStar's team. This is the second time we've used NorthStar and we will continue to use them for our future moves. Brandon and his team were awesome, they worked quickly but carefully, and got everything moved in less time than we expected and in perfect condition! Brandon is a superstar, the guy is a one-man wrapping packing carrying loading and managing machine!

I first found these guys years ago from their good reviews on Yelp. This is the third time I've used them. They have always done a great job. Reasonable pricing and professional movers. They really hustle to get the move done quickly, vs many other movers who drag their feet to pad the time you have to pay them. Highly recommend.

I booked Northstar Moving Corp a couple of weeks before the actual moving date; they were very responsive. The day before the moving date I received a call to confirm their arrival time and another call to inform me that they were ~30 minutes away. They arrived on time, introduced themselves and then their team leader asked me a few questions about the move & then got started. It took David Archuleta, Miguel Villanueva & Anthony Williams just under three hours to box & move out a one bedroom apartment to my new place 7 miles away. They were prompt, courteous & professional. There was a little paint damage and their team lead took pictures for me to use if I were to file a claim. They were very prompt in responding to my small damage claim as well. Overall, I would recommend Northstar Moving to anyone looking for a moving service.

The move went very well. David, Miguel, and Anthony did an excellent job moving my items from a 2 level house into a 3 level townhome. They absolutely saved my back! The crew arrived earlier than scheduled, and they are very prompt when giving an ETA. David called asking to arrive earlier, gave an estimated arrival, and was at my home at the time given. The guys then took a lunch break and we decided to meet at the 2nd location. And exactly as quoted, they showed up on time at the 2nd location. I have used North Star previously and even the members of that crew were also prompt and professional. I appreciate all of their hard work. It was money well spent.

Well — showed up on time, moved quickly, etc.

Branden, Dominic, and Ocean helped with our move. We had two pick ups and they were on time for both, flexible with time, very quick and efficient. Our final stop was a drop off. The guys did not mind waiting while we made slight placement decisions. Nothing in the move was damaged or broken, they wrapped furniture and paintings for the move which was very helpful and costs little. Overall we had a great experience with the guys and the company. We have used this company multiple times and we’ve been very satisfied every time.

Worst experience of my life. Nightmare! I spent a lot of money for professional movers . I got a couple high school kids (yes still in High School!) and one guy a bit older who were untrained, unprofessional and damaged everything they touched. They damaged all of my property! Incompetent is too kind a word for these people. They damaged the interior and exterior of the old building I moved from. They broke the interior oak stairs of the new location. All three of them standing on one stair, a small refrigerator on a dolly. They never finished the move. Everything was left on first floor. They blocked the closet with heavy furniture. Chests of drawers left facing walls backwards. Large furniture pieces left in middle of the room Upside Down! They left me with an untenable mess. They left furniture outside on the patio, and of course it rained for the next few days. They did not perform the job that they were hired for. I still need to hire movers to place my furniture. They company has done quite a job of putting me off about claims and damages. I paid for extra insurance. So far I’m in a loop of endless paper work. They have not addressed the fact that their staff was untrained and DID NOT PERFORM THE SERVICE I PAID FOR. The one good person in this disaster story is the independent contractor that they did send out to repair the damaged stairs and to touch up some of my heinously damaged furniture. This took over three weeks to occur, so during that time I had to hope over the broken stairs inside constantly. Never trust these people with your property!

Polite and conscientious. Most of all took time to thoroughly blanket and wrap furniture. With many moves under my belt, this is the key to avoiding bad surprises when the movers are gone and you unpack. Called to let me know when they were on the way. Happy customer.

David and his team were EXCELLENT. They packed, moved and unpacked a 3,000 Sq.Ft. house in under 8 hours. They were professional, on time and most importantly did what they said they were going to do. i highly recommend calling Northstar Movers.

Was great to be able to hire to move just a few items to another address, and move some large items at destination into garage for bulk garbage pickup, at a great price. David and Chris were very professional and personable; took great care with our items.

I needed to move quickly from a 1600 sf condo and Northstar got me scheduled fast and on a Sunday. The guys arrived during the window provided and got to work quickly. We also needed packing help, so they helped pack up the kitchen which took some time. They were friendly, very professional, and I'd definitely hire them again. Nothing was damaged during the move. I forgot to remind them about the 5% Angie's List discount currently being offered when I paid, so I had to contact them about the discount later. Even though the move was done, they gave me the credit without any hassle. Use these guys.

Roger and crew were fast, professional, and courteous. Everything was moved gently, taped if needed, and wrapped. The guys were efficient, quick, and polite. We were about 60% packed and they helped complete our packing in addition to finishing well ahead of the quoted time frame. Nothing was rushed and nothing was damaged, including 6 large mirrors. Would highly recommend and hire again if needed!

Jonathan and his crew with Mike and Wendel did an amazing job today! They were fast, friendly and very respectful. We completed the entire move a few hours quicker than originally anticipated. This was my second time using the company and they always deliver. Highly recommend requesting Jonathan’s crew for the future!

It went great. The entire 5 man crew arrived on time and completed the job under estimate. They were respectful of me and my wife. They asked a lot of questions and rested our home like it was their own. I would highly recommend William and his crew from Northstar.

This is my second review for work done 12-12-17 as i found damage after the workers left. It was going well and I gave them a good review, but since they left I found 3 pieces of furniture that they broke (practically destroyed) and they neglected to tell me before they left. They (Pablo, Logan and Moses) were very anxious for me to write a review before they left. They rushed me to sign forms (that probably should have been signed BEFORE they started the work), and made sure I wrote their review so they could beat other teams of movers in the company. I had seen that they moved things in the garage without breakage, but then they moved more in there and I didn't check again. Pablo kept rushing me to sign the forms and write the review before they left - which they were very anxious to do. They wanted to get their tip and leave before I knew that they broke some of my furniture. I saw that they broke a marble table top and was in the process of making a claim, when I saw that they also almost destroyed 2 antique tables. I was shocked and angry that although breakage happens, this kind of destruction should not have happened and they, at the very least, should have told me. I had said that I would use them again, but now I will not and I would not recommend them to anyone. I'm still in the process of getting my claims made so we shall see how they rate on that. The initial response was 60 cents a pound and not market value of the item. I think this was on one of the forms that Pablo rushed me to sign after the move was mostly complete. I'm hoping that Northstar will be more professional, and fair in their remedy than they were in their service to me.

Great , very professional and courteous. If something breaks they will take responsibility for it. I would hire them again.
