Newmatic Painting and Remodeling

I have hired Jeff and his team to do work on my homes three times now. Pride in his work shows. Not just Jeff, but everyone on his crew has always show up on time, and considerate of our spaces and even social distancing as necessary. Our most recent project was at the beginning of the Covid-19 quarantine and outside, but it was necessary for them to come in a bit). The quality of the work has always been outstanding and better than the (old but longstanding) builder quality which I hire them to upgrade for me. They pay attention to detail and always go above and beyond - when surprise "extras" appear in the work, offering choices for solutions that won't break my budget. It is so hard to find great contractors that not only show up (on time!!) and finish on time, but also stay on budget. Jeff and his team not only do this, but also great people. I won't hesitate to recommend them and hire them again for any future home improvements and repair.

It went very well... great job re-doing our master bathroom shower - from tiling to fixtures - it looks fantastic!

Fantastic! Jeff and his crew are really great guys who are honest, easy to work with, and provide quality work. The whole job went perfectly. The guys showed up every day on time and often worked late. They went out of their way to make sure the job didn’t run into the holidays. We had limited space for painting and they went the extra mile to make it all work. A minor issue came up with our backsplash. One of the pieces of stone ended up looking much lighter after the sealant was put on and didn’t look quite right. Jeff came first thing the next day and pulled a whole sheet on stones out one at a time and pieces in darker ones by hand. It made such a difference. He is such a skilled craftsman. Our kitchen is beautiful. The guys are so kind and hard working. I will be calling them for all of our projects.

Jeff and his team were phenomenal. 2 contractors we hired previously either provided terrible quality work or plain didn't show up when they were scheduled pushing the project back months. Jeff and his team ALWAYS showed up the day/time they said they would be here. They took our design image for our kitchen partial remodel and it came out exactly how we pictured. Not only did they do a great job on our kitchen we also had them fix shoddy work by a previous contractor on a wet bar/cabinet install. They took 3 days to fix and finish what it took another contractor 4 months to leave a mess and half finished. I highly recommend Jeff and team. Any future work we will definitely be hiring Jeff and team again.

Our complete kitchen remodel went well. No major curve balls. Things took a little longer than expected, however, it was worth the wait. Beautiful results.

Terrific experience with Newmatic Painting. The work performed was of very high quality with the results exceeding our expectations. Jeff Newman and his team were at our house working each and every day on time, staying late to complete the job as scheduled. The team working at our house were respectful, hard working and constantly kept us updated on the progress they were making. In particular, I would like to call out Aaron for all he did to make this a very satisfying experience for us. In addition, after the painting was completed, Jeff promptly came back to touch up spot's dinged during the final construction in the kitchen. Top general contracting and remodeling company! Owner called and set an appointment to see the property the same day! Initial tear down work was done for bathroom remodel. Owner was very responsive, submitted a reasonable bid, has excellent local reputation & years of experience. He is very knowledgeable and has innovative ideas for remodeling. The work area was left neat and construction messes were removed directly from the property. The owner personally inspected all work done. Will call to get a bid for the full remodel!

Jeff Newman and his team were incredible from start to finish. They were able to begin the project ahead of schedule, and finished on budget and within the estimated time frame. We would use them again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend them to anyone needing remodeling or paint work. Even after two weeks in the house, we were sad to see them go, and we've been enjoying all of the features they added and improved.

The job was estimated at around 6 weeks but took about 8 weeks as we kept adding work during the project. Jeff and his crew were present the all time and worked hard everyday, sometimes way past 5pm, to complete the whole thing before the holidays. We do a decent amount of work myself and only rely on contractors when we have to so it was really important for us to find someone that really knows their stuff and can deliver. Jeff, Will, Aaron are all very easy to work with and dependable. We would definitely bring them back for more work.

Jeff and his team were very cordial and trustworthy, professional and approachable. They communicated very well and discussed various options and pricing. During the day, it was common for them to either call to ask me questions or to send me pictures of what they found or what was happening. They worked every day until the project was done. There were no unexpected delays. They also liked my dog and treated her well. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. The guys with whom Jeff works are fantastic, incredibly professional and attentive to the details. The finished product exceeded our expectations, and the job ended up being more than Jeff anticipated, including installing a metal roof in August which was brutally hot. There was a change order, and Jeff's additional bill for that change was negligible, not enough in my opinion especially given the challenges with the roof. I will hire Jeff again without hesitation; in fact, I can't wait to have another good project for him to improve our house.

. Everything is done beautifully and precisely. Jeff, Aaron, Bill and Will were all friendly, professional and made sure everything was done perfectly. They were great will my slightly neurotic dogs and I completely trusted them alone in my home. I've lined them up for a list of random little fixes around the house and look forward to the next project with them. Pricing wasn't the cheapest but it was far from the most expensive. I'm so glad I chose to use them.

The house I purchased had an old, detached patio cover which was poorly constructed causing leaks and flooding during even moderate rains. Jeff and his crew (Will & Aaron) did a fantastic job building for me a beautiful new patio cover which is now attached to the main roof and wraps around the exterior of the fireplace (a few days later we had heavy rains - not a leak to be found). They also found a great solution to accommodate my wish to not have a vertical beam in the middle of my patio (a 28ft span). These guys are GREAT! Unusual to the trade, they actually show up on time, are wonderful at listening and finding solutions and the work is meticulous - they clearly take pride in the quality of their craft. One of my favorite things about the house is now the patio. I have many projects on my list of home improvements - Jeff and his crew are the only ones I will trust to handle any/all of them! Great job guys!

Jeff and his crew did great work. They care about details, and came back until everything was done to their standards and our satisfaction. Jeff is a good communicator, and would let us know right away if there were any time changes. He discussed every part of the project with us, listening to our thoughts and questions, and offered suggestions and expertise. Jeff is thoughtful, and we felt completely confident in his abilities. He takes pride in doing a good job - a great find!

* Built an awesome freestanding treehouse.
* Remodeled my master bathroom around a Japanese-style soaking tub.
* Replaced a busted up door.
* Stripped several layers of hideous wallpaper from my master bathroom and put up new texture and paint.
* Painted every bit of my kitchen.
* Fixed up a sloppy crown molding job executed by previous owners.
* Changed the kitchen cabinet layout to let in more light and make room for a new pendant fixture over the sink, which he also installed.
* Ran ethernet backhaul all through the house.
* Replaced a bunch of fiddly old sink and tub drains.
* Replaced a leaking toilet shut off valve.
* Power washed and sealed my wraparound porch. This important and much loved feature of my home now looks much better and will last much longer.

And many other things. If something around the house needs work, Newmatic gets the job.

Jeff did a fantastic job, with superior, really superior workers/subcontractors.  There was a roofing aspect to the job, which was much more than expected, and he didn't charge me for the extra time and effort.  I highly recommend Jeff.

Jeff's bids were fair and accurate, and there were no surprises when the final invoices were presented. Jeff and his team did excellent work, and they had a friendly and caring attitude that made them a pleasure to work with. We have several additional projects pending and intend to use Newmatic for them all.

Work went very well. Excellent communication was maintained before and throughout the duration of the project. Work site was well maintained with removal of all waste materials and cleanup at the end of each work day. The only delays in the progress of work were due to subcontractors scheduling conflicts.

Excellent one day job, replaced all rear house siding to include trim around three windows.

Firstly the remodel of our fireplace was a difficult task as the tiles we had picked were tricky to install as it included intricate cutting and install, but his team did a brilliant job and the living area looks awesome now. The second job was a remodel of our spare bedroom which included making a window opening through a stone wall, putting in a new exterior window, creating a wall to separate two bedrooms and priming and painting. Again a fantastic job, no complaints.

I am always a little wary about having workmen in the house but these guys are honest, mindful, trustworthy and do a stellar job. I have no hesitation in recommending Jeff and his team for any remodel/painting work.

Jeff and his crew were a pleasure to deal with. I don't think I'm the pesky customer type but I do have things I want done a certain way. Provided drawings of what I wanted ahead of time and the finished product is virtually identical.

The guys showed up on time every day, kept the work place neat and orderly and completely cleaned up once finished. These are the kind of guys that are hard to find.

I found out about Jeff through my next door neighbor whose kitchen and baths were remodeled by his guys. He even did me a small favor while they were working over there. Everyone in Jester Estates here in Austin has been very pleased with his work.

Jeff's team did an excellent job of maintaining the condition of the rest of the house while doing extraction of old flooring and walls.  His crew was punctual, hard working and trustworthy.  Jeff is easy to do communicate with and gives a feeling of confidence and trust when working with him.  Quotes were very competitive, and end results of the work was of the highest quality.   I would recommend him highly for your home improvement projects.
