Moody's Air Conditioning & Heating

I called and his wife said he could be out in an hour or so, and he arrived in less time than that. He figured out very quickly that it was the motor, which he didn't have with him. So, he went and got it and was back in half an hour. He went to work, got it fixed, and my A/C was back working. A week or two later, I got a voicemail from his wife saying that she had made a mistake billing me - she got two numbers backward I think... Anyway, I hadn't noticed on my card statement, but she said the check was in the mail for what she over-charged ($18.00, so not a lot) and was very apologetic about it. Overall, it was a great experience!

Mrs. Moody was great to talk to when scheduling the appointment; very friendly - even called and let me know that Gary was a little behind schedule and to confirm that we would still be available for the service.  Gary is professional and friendly, he explained everything he was doing as he went about checking the units inside and out.  He recommended replacing one part - still working but very rusted and working for now; I opted to have it replaced. He took care of it.  He even showed me some tips on setting the thermostat for getting the best use from the unit.   I plan to call for my annual service and highly recommend Moody's.

great service! wonderful doing business with a local business. ..within 3 visits everything was done: estimate, discussion/clarification of exactly what we wanted, and installation, including taking the attic unit apart to get it through the opening....and they even initiated a rebate within a day or two!

Very nice people and do what they say they will do. I would not use anyone else unless I had to.

Called Gary to look over my old central air system again. I've had him do maintenance every year but the unit was so old and inefficient I was planning on replacing as soon as l could. Gary came that day and said it needed Freon as usual. From experience I knew that adding Freon was ok for awhile but not long after my house would start feeling humid and barely cool. I asked him to estimate what I would need for a new system. As it turns out the estimate was what I was expecting so I asked to replace the system. Gary was able to come back in a couple hours with his associate and less than 2 hours later I had a whole new hvac system that cools my house wonderfully and no more humidity.
I am very happy with the service, the team and my new system. Outstanding experience!!!

The technician went in the attic and found the problem, cleared the blocked drain and performed the maintenance check I requested.

After having a horrible experience with Service Experts for my own air conditioning repair, I went with the recommendation from a friend when I made arrangements to have a family member's air conditioner fixed. I called on a Friday afternoon for a non-urgent service request, and they scheduled me for first thing on Monday. Then I got a call later asking if Saturday (2 days earlier) would work. Absolutely!

Gary came over and quickly found the wiring issue and repaired it. He suggested some additional maintenance services, which he completed, including adding freon and cleaning the coils. He got the job done quickly and was very honest in his recommendations.

I even asked if he would mind going next door to a family member who couldn't locate their air filter. He was able to locate it for us, and popped in a new one that he had on hand, just the right size! This saved us quite a lot in not having to make a second call to get a professional to locate the air filter for us, and make a separate trip to the store to buy one. (or worse, never finding it, and ruining the unit)

I was recommended Gary by a friend of mine and since then another friend has used him and been happy as well. I feel confident in highly recommending Moody's.

It went very well over all. They came out the same day I called. They were on time and got the job done quickly.

This was not an easy job, it was labor intensive. The job looks professional; the aluminum body was professionally re-installed with a combination tape, plaster, and other fibers materials, which extend up into the plywood flooring which is the base of the attic. Now everything is professional and air tight. The house is cool and the ac works! The owner himself will make the initial visit for an estimate.

My A/C quit cooling about 10pm. The next morning I called many companies, and Moody's was the only one who could come that day. The person on the phone who set the appointment was very helpful and sympathetic. The technician came a little earlier than was planned, found out very quickly what was wrong, got the part, and fixed it -- all very professionally. I will call them again.

We found Moody,s on Angies list. he came to give an estimate the day after we called him. He was very knowlegable and did an excellant job explaining what needed to be done. He told us that this would qualify for city rebate and a federal tax credit. He gave us a clear well defined estimate. He scheduled the work very quickly when we told him we wanted to proceed. The work was completed in one day. They showed up prmptly and were very efficent They left the area as clean as it was when they arrived. We were very pleased with the work.

I got bids from many companies and was offered alot of bells and whistles at prices from 6G to 11G. Rebates offers, govt tax credits--you name it.After about 3 of them my head was spinning. Moody offered a quality 4T system and didn't attempt to add on extras when not needed. Instalation was timely and outstanding, his price was the best and the owner and 1 employee did the complete job. This guy is very straight forward and good. Call allot of contractors and then call Moody. You'll see.

Absolutely an A++ job. The price and equipment were excellent, and Gary and his helper were on time and extremely pleasant and helpful. He explained everything, asked questions and made suggestions (like if I wanted the upgraded filter system or did I want a simpler digital thermostat than the fancy one I had with all the features I never use), and finished very quickly. They obviously have done this job many, many times before -- they were efficient and knew exactly what they were doing. They put down drop clothes inside, and they cleaned up both inside and out. They also sealed the opening to the outside where the drain pipe leaves the house to keep animals and insects out. Gary is submitting the $300 city rebate application for me; all I had to do is give him my electric account number. I can't recommend Moody's any higher.

Our heater was not coming on and with all the cold snaps that have been ocurring, I was COLD! My husband called Gary and he fit us into his schedule on the same day, came out, checked out and fixed our furnace, all in one day! We own an appliance repair business and know how important customer service is and Gary treats his cutomers right.
