Robert diagnosed the failed compressor on a Friday, and he replaced the HVAC unit with the new one on the following Monday. The new unit is doing an excellent job of cooling and heating. I registered the product online with Goodman, and they added five years to their standard warranty for a total of ten years warranty. Robert will be doing all of the maintenance.

The AC is working fine and this fall I will call Robert to do my furnace check.

Robert cleared the inside drain line, checked the inside and outside units, and cleaned the outside condenser unit fins with a hose. The Aprilaire pleated filter needed to be changed. I had one on hand so I changed it myself.

Robert responded to my call the same day. He was even able to fit us in that morning. He was polite, knowledgeable, helpful, and prompt. The price for service was very reasonable. Our AC is working great now thanks to his quick assistance and ability to get the job done quickly and thoroughly.

Robert checked the operation of the AC unit and everything was okay. He made sure the condensate line was clear, checked the filters, checked the outside condenser unit, oiled the condenser fan and washed the condenser fins and coils. Robert does my seasonal checks of AC and furnace each year and does all repairs on my unit as needed. He takes care of the AC and heating units in the homes of my son and daughter as well. My furnace wasn't responding to the thermostat setting, and after finding them on Angie's List, I called Modern A/C and Heating. Robert responded promptly and set a service appointment for two hours later. He arrived on time and got right to work troubleshooting the problem. Although I told him I thought I needed a new thermostat, he never tried to sell me anything. Instead he focused on the troubleshooting procedure for the furnace itself, and after finding nothing fundamentally wrong, he performed some routine maintenance and suggested I wait and see if that fixed it. The furnace is working fine now. Sometimes the measure of a contractor is not how he handles the hard problems, but how he handles the easy ones. I would definitely use Modern A/C again.

They have been servicing my unit for quite some time and have always done an outstanding job. This company is very responsive. My neighbor had an emergency at night and I mentioned that I used this company, so she called them and they were there within one half hour. I highly recommend him and will use him again in the future.

Robert checked the operation of the central air conditioning system, found the refrigerant level to be low and added required refrigerant. He is always prompt, courteous, and professional.

The AC was not cooling because the condenser fan was not turning. Within an hour of my 7 a.m. call, Robert came out and checked the unit. He replaced the defective start capacitor so the AC could be used while he completed his scheduled service calls for the day. At 4:30 p.m., he returned and completed his check and maintenance service of the system.

When I called to schedule an appointment, Robert arrived within one hour and did a professional checkout of both of my heating units within one and one half hours.
