Michelle Hendrix has been extensively engaged in the Austin real estate market for 10 years. However, her passion for the pace and exciting fulfillment of real estate began over 15 years ago in her home town of Santa Barbara where she assisted buyers and sellers in the luxury market at a boutique beachside firm. After relocating to Austin over 10 years ago, Michelle invested all of her time and energy into falling in love with the city and learning the ins and outs of Texas real estate from some of the areas heaviest hitting top producers. Go big or go home, right?! The most important thing that Michelle wanted to do as a result of being groomed in the multi million dollar market was to make a commitment to offer that same level of luxury service to anyone and everyone that needed her help regardless of the price point. Michelle came to Realty Austin in 2012 with this mission statement and every day considers this her obligation to the public. Michelle moves through each day with the highest level of gratitude for the opportunity that she has to support her client's journey to find and secure a home. We called on Michelle to help us evaluate the option of selling our home and then finding another. She came out and looked at the place and told us how much she thought we could sell for... Honestly, I questioned that number but she was spot on. She knows her business and the Austin market! Throughout the process of selling, Michelle was a fantastic resource. She was able to provide suggestions for things to fix and other things not to bother with. She was also able to provide contacts for folks who could do the work for us when needed. The final touches included some great staging and a superb photographer that made the home look even better. We sold in a week..
Michelle was also helping us on our search for a new place to live. She listened to us and asked great questions that helped us figure out more of what we wanted and didn't want. She drove us out and looked at homes with us... It honestly felt more like we were driving around chatting with a friend than a professional realtor. She was really easy to When the search started narrowing down to a couple different homes she was able to help us think through the choices.
Through the whole process I was able to rely on Michelle to assist us with any number of things. I feel like she did a fantastic job in representing our interests in both selling and buying a home. She also wasn't hesitant to stand up for us when the time came. Michelle was always available (by phone, email, and text) and a pleasure to deal with. I really can not recommend her highly enough.

After helping us with tips on how to present our home, we began the task of putting things into place. At first we thought that what she was asking was a little too much that we could handle but we muddled through it and when she came to get us ready for the photo shoot, she was impressed and very happy at what she saw. That made us happy too. She then scheduled a photo shoot and an hour before the shoot, Michelle came with items in hand to help us get the house prepared to stand out from other homes in our area. Michelle then placed the photos on the website when she listed the home. The response was overwhelming. We had four showings and four offers within the first 24 hours.
We give all the credit to Michelle for her guidance, knowledge, friendly and caring expertise of how to show a home. After accepting an offer, Michelle calmed any nervousness we may have had regarding the inspection, closing, and whatever else was troubling us. She was ALWAYS there to answer any questions we had. Never once did she not return a call. Actuactly, she always answered our calls in a very timely manner. We will highly recommend her to our friends, family and co-workers.

My husband and I live in Waco, and in 2011, we went thru a very unsatisfying real estate transaction while selling our Austin home (with a different “highly recommended” agent). When my brother-in-law needed our help in 2012, with a couple of real estate
transactions in Austin, we were very skeptical in what we were going to get in another realtor. My brother-in-law is a
deaf mute, and has no clue about real estate dealings. He wanted to buy a new condo, then redo his old condo and sell it, so we knew we were going to need a realtor who was willing to put in a lot of extra work because of our circumstances. We wanted someone who was honest, accurate, dependable, communicative, on top of things, yet still had that human side that could be patient and compassionate enough to deal with my brother-in-law. It was a lot of extra work in dealing with him in itself, but Michelle had double the work by having to keep my husband and I posted on every aspect that was happening, and then waiting for our approval on things. Michelle was great and fulfilled all of our wishes and needs, and in fact went far beyond what we ever expected. To this day, Michelle is still in contact with us, and still helping my brother-in-law with some things that she really does not have to do.
