Pleased with proffesional Alarm System install. Installer very knowledgeable and system works well. Not as pleased with security camera installer and equipment does not look or perform as expected.
Update - had more problems with security camera. Original installer came out and didn't fix problem but caused new ones. Then someone more experienced came out and fixed original problem and those caused by other guy. Overall I'm pleased and things are working again. Just don't want that one installer to come out again.

They were very punctual and completed the install process of the new key pad as planned. They had originally installed the system in the home that was built so it made a easy choice for me to have them be my service provider.
The one issue I had was part of the equipment was already in the house when I purchsed and had a battery back up. Becasue of the unknow age of the battery and the fact that it was no longer charged made the battery suspect. It was felt that the battery would take a charge and that there would be no issues. Well, that was not the case and there was issues and battery was no longer viable and needed to be replaced.
When calling in the issue the next day I was surprised to learn that battery would need to be replaced and my options were to come by their place and purchase one, have a service call done and pay for the battery and the $40 service call or I could go to Batteries Plus and purchase one. Certainly not the reponse I was looking for since the battery was a known potential issue and was told by the installer to call if the warning light never went off. We had discussed replacing the day before, the 2 installers had differing opinions of the battery life and acutally consulted with someone on the phone as a troubleshooting step.
I would of thought that it would be reasonable to expect that they would take the responsibility since it was a known issue and have some one come out and install the battery for us. I expected to pay for the battery, but I was surprised to find out that I would pay for the service call or take my own time to address the issue. Basically they shifted the responsibility to me.

Good experience having system planned and they were great with adjustments until we selected teh system that fit the best for both budget and quality.
The install team was great, took their time installing the system and explaining all of the equipment to me. Very friendly an efficient and took very good care of our home while working. These guys were expericend, and ensured that all of my expectations were met. They even took some extra time fixing something that I did not even know it was an issue.
The overall cost was higher buying a complete package from them versus shopping around for perhaps better deals, but it made a one stop shopping experience easier kowing that it would be complete system. This was no surprise and I fully expected this would be the case.
Would certainly recomend to anyone that is looking for that one stop shopping experience and a matched system that is for sure going to provide many hours of entertainment for our family

Tech couldn't figure out what was wrong and didn't have enough experience with the issue I was having. I expected them to send out a tech with experience regarding the issue I told them I was having with wireless devices. Tech adjusted time and therefore charge after realizing that he couldn't resolve the issue. Price was fair for time, but not for the experience.

"THIS WAS A SECURITY SYSTEM THAT WE HAD INSTALLED IN A PRODUCTION BUILDER HOUSE THAT THE CUSTOMER HAD ADDED HIS OWN EQUIPMENT AND COULD NOT GET THE EQUIPMENT TO REPROGRAM. HE CALLED US OUT TO TRY AND RESOLVE THE PROGRAMMING PROBLEMS AND WE TOLD HIM THAT WE WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SYSTEM BECAUSE IT WAS NOT OUR ADDED EQUIPMENT. HE AGREED AND WE SENT A QUALIFIED SERVICE TECH TO TRY AND HELP THE CUSTOMER. OUR TECH TRIED TO PROGRAM THE CUSTOMER'S ADD ON EQUIPMENT AND FOUND IT WOULD NOT PROGRAM WITH OUR ORIGINAL SYSTEM. WE OFFERED TO CALL TECH SUPPORT BUT THE CUSTOMER SAID HE WOULD DO IT HIMSELF BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO PAY FOR OUR TECH'S TIME IN DOING SO. WE BELIEVE THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THAT THE CUSTOMER'S ADD ON EQUIPMENT WAS OLD AND NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OUR ORIGINAL SYSTEM AND THAT IS WHY IT WOULD NOT PROGRAM. WE CHARGED CUSTOMER FOR A SERVICE CALL WHICH IS $85.00 PLUS TAX AND INCLUDES THE TRIP CHARGE AND 30 MINUTES OF TIME. THIS WAS NOT EVEN A BREAK EVEN FOR US AND WE WERE TRYING TO BE FAIR ABOUT THE SITUATION. OUR STANDARD POLICY IS WE WILL NOT WORK ON EQUIPMENT THAT IS NOT FURNISHED BY OUR COMPANY BUT BECAUSE THIS WAS AN EXISTING CUSTOMER WE MADE AN EXCEPTION. WE DO NOT BELIEVE THE CUSTOMER'S COMPLAINT IS FAIR BECAUSE WE TRIED TO HELP HIM BUT COULD NOT BECAUSE OF HIS FURNISHED EQUIPMENT."

Mesa installed the alarm system before closing. It is very easy to operate and they are very understanding when the alarm is accidentally triggered. I had ADT in my home in Ohio and the cats set it off all the time. The police came over and called everyone on my list quite a few times. Mesa is perfect and I am very happy. They also do extraordinary custom stereo and television installations which I viewed at their showroom. Alas, I spent way too much on this house and ended up driving to Ikea in Houston for my built in home theater components.
