We will contact you quickly, meet with you personally and discuss your needs to make the best decision for your project. The individuals that we send to your home are Service Professionals. All of our Service Professionals work in certain locations around the city. Working by area allows them to always be close to your current home project for any need that should arise. Our Service Professionals are involved in each project from start to finish. The person that estimates your project is the same person who arranges the material delivery. He is also the same person that hand-picks the crew for your job and interacts with them throughout the process of performing your job. The Service Professional is responsible for checking that the project meets the result promised you by him in the initial appointment. They are not just salesmen; they are in charge of guaranteeing your satisfaction with our service. Finally, upon completion of your home improvement project, the owner of our company, Doug Moncure makes a personal phone call to follow-up on our work and ensure that you’re satisfied.

M & M Roofing re-roofed my Round Rock home in May of 2022 and did an excellent job on this $13K+ project. The same crew also did a separate small siding repair for me a week earlier. Bob Mills is the most attentive, thorough, and honest of the 5 roofing managers I've selected over the years. His bid was competitive but not the lowest -- I've made the mistake in the past of just going with the lowest bidder. This company, M&M, is large enough to be reliable and accountable. Their parent company, also called M&M, is based in Houston but I dealt only with the Austin organization. The crew of 3 finished in 3 1/2 days, an approach I prefer because the quality of workmanship is noticeably more even with a smaller crew. Bob and his area supervisor Dan communicate well, offer good advice, and follow through on promises. I recommend them to family and friends without reservation, and I would use them again.

Main recommendation from M&M was for a paint job, on the assumption that water was leaking through seams in siding. They also removed and re-installed two existing gable vents. After $5400, gable vents were leaking as badly or worse as before the work. No testing was done before or after to pinpoint the leaks or see if the leaks were fixed. My sons and I did hose-tests, but M&M did none. Workers were often late or did not show at all, and drank and smoked on the job, leaving beer bottle caps and cigarette butts in our yard. Very poor communication throughout. With the help of our window contractor, I tracked down some replacement gable vents and had someone else install them after getting no response from the M&M rep, after repeated efforts to contact. VERY dissatisfied! Having said this, the paint job itself was fine -- it just didn't address the problem we had!

He informed me that we did not do a water test because there was obvious issues with the siding joints and the house needed paint. It was obvious that there was water penetration from these areas, it could be easily seen without a water test and these areas had to be eliminated. We had hoped that this would take care of all the issues of water penetration into this clients house, without having to do the additional work of replacing the gable vents. The cost we quoted was very competitive and the work needed to be done. I have also addressed the quality of our service with our representative. I apologize for the issues that occurred on your job. The only thing that went smoothly was the quote. Dan was out at our house within an hour of my call. We locked down a price and scope of work. Fairly small job for them. After that, we had to reschedule the work due to a family emergency. I expected to get a call from Dan at the arranged time, but ended up calling him. And so began that pattern of me having to call to check in on the scheduled work. He would promise a day/time, but it would come and go without any workers on the scene. I always had to follow-up and ask about the delay and possible reschedule. I even called the main line to complain/ask about scheduling practices. I also let Dan know that I would appreciate calls/texts if there were going to be delays, as those are understandable...but lack of communication is not. When they finally started work, it was a little sketchy. The crew came in an unmarked van and did not introduce themselves. They would leave/arrive without telling us (just went thoruhg back gate). The job wrapped up more quickly than I thought, but we had to stay on top of them (I took pictures and sent them to my husband), suggest additional work where M&M was cutting corners...such as missing insulation discovered after demolition. We also had to call them back after they were 'done' for several items that were not finished properly. We also discovered that the paint match was pretty terrible (wish I could attach a picture). They also left a mess - cigarettes, trash, etc. that we had to ask them to pick up. Even then, Dan acted like I was asking too much. In summary - Would not hire again due to scheduling disasters, lack of proactivity and professionalism, low standards of quality/workmanship. Not sure how they got such high marks on AL.

The first visit was very professional, but then the workers that came to do the job did not do what I asked and left trash and cigarette butts all over. I called to clarify what I wanted done and did not hear back for 6 months. Then the Forman argued with me on what was expected and disappeared again. The last time I saw him he showed up with his shirt untucked and covered in food stains. They came into my yard when I was not home and did not let me know. Lastly he demanded I mail payment in instead of reviewing the work to see if it was okay.

We had an excellent experience with M&M Roofing Windows and Siding. They installed three double pane vinyl windows, one picture window and a back door. They did the full job including new trim which other companies that only 'do windows' said they could put in the windows, but I would need to find someone else to do the trim. I wanted it all done together and M&M did it. Job was done in an efficient, and attention to detail manner, which we very much appreciated.

The representative came out to the house the same week I put in the request and was quoted quickly. It was hard to nail down a schedule to complete the work, which was a little difficult for myself and my husband that work full time jobs away from our home, but when the work was completed I was pleased with the quality. The installers were also very quick and utilized our exterior paint so the color matched exactly. It was also a busy time of year which I think contributed to the schedule coordination issues.

I am very pleased with the work Brian and his staff did. The new siding and the new paint looked nice so I asked if they could paint the whole house instead of just painting what they repaired. They came back the next day and started painting the whole house. It extended the time they were working on my house, but Brian and his staff didn't hesitate. It all started with Michael coming out to my house to give me an estimate. He was kind enough to give me three different estimates. I went with the estimate I could afford. Brian and his staff were very courteous, conscientious, and very proud of their work. I would hire them again with no problem. They are a good crew!

Everything was pretty solidly built for the most part. M&M, however, cut A LOT of corners and never pulled city permits for ANY of their work. When it came time to sell the house, it couldn't be sold until it was permitted by the city (or else have the room demolished) and it was delayed for four months due to having to hire my own drafter, structural engineer and permit company to get retro permits for the work. Additionally, steps had to be constructed and affixed to the room since city code required them, due to the distance from the door to the ground. When I contacted "Audie" with M&M questioning about the permits and such, his EXACT response was, "We already finished that job, we're no longer liable for it" (which the City of Austin inspection dept quickly said otherwise) and Audie said he'd meet me the next morning. Audie was a "no call / no show" that following morning. When it was all said and done, I had to pay a bit more than $5000 out of pocket (that did not get comped in the sale of the house) for the permits, drawings, structural design letter, etc, plus City of Austin fines for NOT having permits pulled back when the work was originally performed. M&M gave me a list of previous jobs they'd performed for reference when they originally bid on this job. I'm sure the City of Austin would be interested in knowing those addresses as well, to follow up on to see how many other jobs that they DIDN'T pull permits for?

We had all our siding replaced with hardy board. They were quick to give me a clear quote and the only company we talked to that didnt demand to talk to the man of the house. I appreciated the lack of sexism. They kept me up to date with the project and explained everything along the way. Affordable price versus competitors and no hidden charges popped up. The only bug a boos were they always left nails in my driveway. Even after using the magnet thing I always found a few each day. Luckily I found them before our tires did. Also at end of service there were too many things I had to point out to fix. Granted they fixed them all, but dont come to me with a finished product that has like 20 minor things that need to be touched up. Overall, I would use again based on the experience and price. THe house looks like a whole new place and we are very happy with it.
