We have not been happy with Maidtopia. In 7 months we were with them, there were a few items treated roughly (shelves knocked off wall; air conditioner vent knocked out of window; wall hangings accidentally knocked off multiple times); the cleaner was regularly late with a different excuse most visits (flat tire, traffic, behind a funeral procession, stuck in mud, held up by train, alarm didn’t go off, car trouble, road shut down, had to stop for cleaning supplies — these are literal excuses documented via texts); and cleaner often did not stay for three hours during purchased three hour cleanings (usually staying 1.5-2 hours, until I questioned what was happening). Cleaner did a lot of work overall and was very helpful getting our initially messy house cleaned up, so we stuck through some issues. The final straw for us was the cleaner not following instructions (cleaned a room clearly marked “do not clean” that has always been “off limits” for cleaning due to the room housing incredibly breakable/sentimental items). I recently lost my father, and her randomly dusting/cleaning/arranging things I had kept that were on his person at his death was heartbreaking. I would’ve put those things away if I had chosen to let her clean the office! It was overall way more work than it should have been to monitor and correct concerns. My recommendation is that it will be much easier to choose a different housekeeping service and hopefully avoid so many issues.

The cleaning was great. They got there on time, reviewed the priority sheet, then got to work. The cleaning quality was really great, I just think she forgot some things, like window sills and baseboards and a few spots in the shower. Overall though, she did a lot in 3 hours and I would definitely hire her again.

I hired Maidtopia for 3 hours of housecleaning, and they did a great job. They showed a bit late (due to traffic) but went straight to work and did a thorough job of cleaning the entire house, including bathrooms and kitchen. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

We had three things brake over the time we used them. The first they compensated me, the second they made me pay and the third I stopped using them.

I picked this company based on the A rating, however the services performed where not to that level. In short, the house was empty and we were not moving into the home for a few days after the cleaning was done. I gave them a copy of our key so the maid could get in and out herself. When I went by the house a few days later the floors, which are all tile, where still dirty. My children were playing on the floors while I moved in a few boxes and their feet looked like they were playing in dirt. The floors should have been mopped clean. There were other areas that may have just been dusted over or lightly wiped down, but that was not what I expected. My biggest concern was the handling of our house key. I had sick kids and wasn't able to make original arrangements to get the key from the maid directly before she left, so I told them to just have the maid lock up and we would stop by the office to get the key. When my husband went to the office the day after services were performed, the maid still had not returned the key. He had gone there about mid-day. They told him they would mail it to us. It's been a few weeks now and we still have not received the key, nor did we get a call that they found it. We changed the locks on the house shortly after we moved in so we are ok, but I would think twice about the professionalism and care for the security of their clients homes.

"I reviewed the notes on the account. On the day the cleaner performed the service, she was unable to return to the office before our office closed at 5 pm for customers and 6pm for our staff. At that point, her field supervisor advised for her to return the key the next day to the Dispatching staff member who had given her the key since it as not going to be placed in our lock box since it was to be returned to the customer. The next morning she contacted Dispatching that she was on her [Member Information Removed] to return the key. Unfortunately, the same individual that had delivered the key for the service stopped by the office to pick up the key before the cleaner arrived . We explained the situation at which point the options of how we would return the key were discussed as he was unable to return to our office the remainder of the day that Friday. He opted for us to mail the key a specific address he wrote down and also requested we provide quotes for a biweekly service because he was interested in a continued arrangement. The key was never returned via USPS back to our office as a non-delivered item. In regards to the service, we always offer 100% satisfaction guarantee to all our customer and would have been happy to discuss any issues with the cleaning had we been notified. We apologize for any inconvenience and would be happy to discuss if you would like to give us a call."

Amelia was early and got right to work. My showers have never looked so good. She did blinds, baseboards and regular cleaning, sweeping and mopping. She made the beds and emptied the trash. My house looks amazing !
