I am very happy we have found this shop. My husband has an older model Jeep and it needs repairs often. We got tired of dealing with the typical Jeep repair places in town. They are honest and quick. They have a drop box for keys for after hours drop offs. We have had them also work on my father's SUV and again no issues. They don't do everything. They will not work on my father's Jag or deal with air bag lights. Front office could be a tad more friendly but they are not rude. They are more to the point, very direct! Watch out for the step in. I have tripped on it twice. You would think I would have learned after the first time. We have only dropped off cars and not waited for them. They are cool to let us leave them in their lot until we can pick up. They also have a deal if you check in with Yelp. However, be sure to show when you arrive vs. when you pay. They will not honor it if you wait until you pay. I don't agree with this but their right to do what they want. Doesn't work when you drop off the car at night after hours. We feel like the price and quality of work is spot on. We will continue to use them to work on the Jeep and any other cars not under dealer warranty.

I had been having some issues with my 2004 Nissan Quest for some time. The car was leaking fluids and generally sounded bad. Another shop had told be that since the car's computer hadn't put out a code they couldn't tell me what was wrong with it. I took it to Lugnuts and they were able to provide me with a prioritized list of things that needed to be fixed. The list pretty much confirmed what I already suspected. I did have Lugnuts perform the most immediate repair but the entire list was too extensive and expensive for a car this old. The repairs they did perform were done quickly and the price was fair. The staff was very courteous and prompt. i would definitely recommend them and plan to use them in the future.

I went to them because they were less than a mile away. I wanted to deal with the owner, but I had to deal with an employee who gave me the feeling I was bothering him and he was too busy to meet my needs. The owner was good, but the employees were not. Maybe they were extremely busy, but I don't think I will be using them in the future. I won't say don't use them. The owner is delightful. I am an old woman and never felt I was being taken advantage of by him. My encounters with the employees were not good.

Great! I took my car to ford because it was still under warranty. They said they fixed it, but didn't. I took my car to Lugnuts. He had trouble finding the problem, but kept at it until he did. My car works beautifully now and I haven't had the problem since. I took it back when my blinker went out, fixed it in 5 mins. I have taken every car I've owned to them over the years. They are wonderful and the only ones I TRUST. I will continue to go to them whenever I have issues in the future.

Explained that they did not have parts or tools to make repair. Referred me to local Volvo mechanic.
I have used these folks since they took over from the former owner. I have always found them to be helpful, timely and honest.
One issue I had with one repair (turned out to be a defective part) but Lugnuts did the job over at no charge.

Our kids were visiting us from Fort Worth when they started having car problems. We initially thought the problem was in the transmission, so took the car to Eagle Transmission (see related review). When the folks at Eagle determined the problem was actually in the engine, they moved the vehicle and all diagnostic and warranty info to Lugnuts for us. The diagnosis and repairs were performed in the same day and for a fair price. Overall, a very positive experience -- the folks on Manchaca Road are lucky to have businesses of this caliber in their neighborhood.

The people at lugnuts were very polite. They had my vehicle in and out very quickly. I and to get the instrument cluster panel replaced as well as the reservoir for the windshield wiper fluid. They found an oil leak and what I thought was going to be a very costly job turned out to be reasonable. I did price shop for the services they provided and they were the most reasonable. The only thing that bothered me was that I was told I was low on oil due to the leak. When I left I realized they didn't advise me if I was still low orif they had added oil. I called and I couldn't get an answer as to whether I needed to add oil or not. So I had to check it. Kind of would have thought that would have been taken care of there. It's only good business practice. Don't fix a leak and then let me drive out low on oil. I had to add oil.

Patrick was polite, explained problem honestly and said what was absolutely necessary to be done and what could wait. He remained in contact throughout the day and answered my questions. He had multiple techs drive to confirm problem and genuinely insisted we should bring it back in if not satisfied. Work was done by end of day. As a woman I would go back without hesitation. Don't be turned off by the bright blue and yellow building. These guys are kind and I felt comfortable asking questions. Big deal at an auto shop!

The owner was so cool. He said that he had switched brake pads because they had done the same thing to his wife's car. He took all the pads off the car and gave me a brand new parking brake. He said it was all free. It was such a bad experience that I decided to go back because they have such a good reputation around town. Sure enough they fixed me up and went beyond for no cost. The price was reasonable and they checked up the whole car. He fit me into his schedule at that moment. I don't think you know how good somebody is until you have a problem. I will go back to them for anything that goes wrong with my car.

I had been taking my car to another service center for maintenance and oil changes. Their prices seemed to be getting higher, so I decided to try Lugnuts. They were having a $1.00 special on diagnostics, and my 'Service Engine Soon' light was on. Patrick said that I needed to have the catalytic converter replaced and referred me to Vic at Radiator and Muffler King on South Lamar, since they don't do that type of service. He didn't charge me anything for the diagnosis! I went to Vic's the next day, and they replaced the catalytic converter for half the price that my previous shop had quoted. I am a Lugnuts fan!

They are very reasonably priced and they do a very good job. There was a hole in the radiator from a rock and the car was over heating so we had it soldered. They have repaired my older cars and I know they are really good. They do a quick job too. They are nice and friendly I would use them in the future.

I was very pleased with their service. I think the price was moderate and, as far as I know, the quality of their work was fine. I will definitely use this company again.

Took in the vehicle and Chris started looking at it and the problem was not occurring. After letting it warm up, they found the problem to be the mounts on the front struts. They also found that the boots were torn on the tie-rods. It was not necessary to replace them but I prefer to keep the tie rods clean of dirt. They were very prompt in dealing with the issue.

Patrick and the guys at Lugnuts have been working on our vehicles for a couple of years now. My recent adventure involved having a loud rattling noise in the front end. They put it on the rack and found that the tie rod was loose on both ends. They tightened it and then tested it. I was expecting a large bill but was very pleased with the labor charge. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. This was easily a situation in which a dishonest shop could take advantage of the consumer but i was not worried with Lugnuts. They have always treated me right.

They are the best. Every time I take any of our vehicles in for service they do it right and don't cause another problem.

I've always been happy with the work done on my vehicle. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and have offered great advice throughout the years. The shop has been so honest and reliable which is the reason why I continue to use them.
