This did not go well. At one point they were kicking in the brand new drywall to remove it from the wall. They showed up with two adults and a child that was only 14 years old. I had called the owner and they stated that may have just been their little helper to hand them tools and not actually to do work. The plumbing work they did was not up to par. There was no way this work would have passed code. I had to hire another plumber to teR put the defective work and.redo. Paid twice fot a simple job. I was not happy with what I got from them.they tried.to ,Add-on extra costs to the original contract before the work was even halfwayncompleted, and.NO. DESIGN. CHANGE. FROM. INITIAL. WORK,. THIS.IS AM UNETHICAL.CONTRACTOR. DO THINK LONG BEFORE. HIRING. Personally, I would NEVER hire them again.

They did a very nice job, for a very reasonable price, and worked on a tight schedule to accomodate our moving in.  Initial contact took a long time, but once they got started and on the schedule, things went very smoothly and quickly.  Not a lot of sales talk, just factual and quick and easy.

Worst experience of my life.
This remodel started in January 2012 and was supposed to take one month.
I did my best to have everything agreed to in writing so that the requirements of each party were clear and indisputable. I don't think the owner, Ms. Moreno, even read the contract she signed. She promises you everything you want to hear and then she does whatever she wants regardless.
Ms. Moreno frequently tried to add on extras to our fixed-price contract without my consent.  She lied to me about providing subcontractor documentation prior to the job as required by law and contract. She also lied to me about restricting access to the off-limits parts of my house while I was not present.
Ms. Moreno is a  bully who does not hesitate to exploit a customer's reliance on them as the experts on the project.  Upon failing the electrical inspection in March Ms. Moreno refused to finish the project unless I made the final payment, which violated our contract and all kinds of laws. Ms. Moreno literally stated she did not care about the terms of our contract, she just wanted to be paid (greatest email ever). So, since I refused to be pushed around by this unethical and unprofessional contractor we both ended up with lawyers getting this mess completed. Six months later Ms. Moreno finally finishes the project and basically does what should have been done 6 months earlier with the same results, except now we've wasted money on our lawyers.
I had such little faith in Ms. Moreno's ability or desire to perform a quality job that I hired a professional construction consultant to walk the job. His assessment was that if the items that I was repeatedly told were"the best that can be done" had not ultimately been fixed due to my constant complaining the project would NOT have met industry standard. The final result has been deemed merely "adequate" by an industry professional. So much for the promised "high quality" results.
This company cares more about tearing through your house like that gremlin on the wing of the plane in the Twilight Zone episode, collecting payment and moving on to the next unsuspecting homeowner than they do in providing customer service. Avoid.

My husband called on a Saturday for an extimate to replace 2 outdoor facuets.  We learned that L&M does not charge higher rates on weekends!  This was great as neither my huband or I would have to take time off from work to wait for someone to come out.  L&M came out and had the work done quickly.  She did have to go the store for parts, but we were not charged for ther time buying parts.  It appeared the project we had was fairly easy and with the knowledge, we might could have done it ourselves.  Or we wonder if we'd hired a handyman rather than a master plumber, if we could have saved some money.  We would definatley use this company again should we have plumbing problems in the future.
