The service person I spoke with insisted that my 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid needed 6 quarts of oil and I had to pull out the owners manual which stated that the oil capacity was 5 litres. Thus, it seems that the overall automotive knowledge at this Lambs store is not very extensive. Towards the end of the appointment, they told me that the back left tail light was out and asked if i would like it replaced. I agreed and when they were taking an unusually long time to complete this action, I walked to the front of the service bay to find three service folk working on trying to get the burnt light bulb out. When I appeared, the supposed 'senior' service person tells me that they would need to remove the back left interior panelling in order to get to this light bulb. I asked that they stop all work regarding the light bulb and complete this service.
I bought the bulb for ~40% of the price they were charging at Lambs and repalced the bulb with no trouble at all using the intstructions in the owners manual.

I have F250 classic truck tires. Their service was okay. I would recommend them to others too.

They were communicative. They called me and kept me up-to-date on what was going on. There was a little bit of glitch and called me immediately to make sure it was okay. The price was reasonable. In terms of punctuality, they stayed two hours longer to make sure it was done. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

The service was excellent. I was told about estimate of repairs needed and cost before the work was done. Very courteous, and timely. Explained what I would need and should get repaired before a long trip.

The oil change took a few hours, but it was a busy day and they had advised me beforehand that it would be a while. After they got my car into the bay, they brought me out to the work floor, showed me some gunky stuff, and strongly advised that I flush the radiator, steering, brake, and transmission fluids, claiming that each of these was in dire condition and likely to cause problems very soon. I happened to have flushed a couple of these fluids at another service facility just a few months previously so I declined their hard sell. I later asked my Ford dealer service center and confirmed that Lamb's advice was bogus.

Lamb's was professional and friendly and truly did their best to be helpful to me. They were thorough and answered all of my questions then fixed the car to perfection.

There was nothing wrong with my tie rods. The nut was the problem. The estimate was $900 and going elsewhere $40 was the repair cost.

The mechanics told me that my power steering fluid had a huge leak and the part including labor was going to be $750 and that I was in risk if I left. I couldn t believe that this guy was actually trying to scare me. Telling me I couldn t leave his shop and that the job had to get done. I took my car to the dealership and they said there was no such problem. The oil change cost me $35 when it was supposed to be $19.99.
