Genealogy
Mr. Chapman discovered that the location of the box was quite far away from where my parents were living in Dallas at the time and that zip codes were not introduced until 1962. Those facts plus that my mother did not normally deal with that company lead us to believe that this policy being held by the Texas State Treasurer was for someone else with the same name. Anyway, he at least cleared the question up for the estate to proceed.
