My wife purchased a used portable sewing machine about 2 years ago and promptly put it in the attic and there it sat in the Texas heat for 2 years. Recently she decided to make some curtains so out comes the sewing machine. When you tried to start it, it would jam. Based on the reviews on Angie's List, I took the machine to Joey. The jamming was fixed with a minor adjustment and he cleaned and oiled the machine. I took the machine one day and it was ready the next. The price was very reasonable. Joey was very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend him. He works out of his house so I suggest you call before going. I almost missed him.

He provided a wonderful service. He is responsive and he fixed it on the spot and we were able to take it back with us. I would highly rate him.

My 27 yr old son was with me, and even he was impressed. (hard to do) The man is a gem! This was probably the best experience doing business I've ever had. I wish all businesses were like him. I knew, right off the bat, that he was going to take care of me, and I was right.

He was just very cordial and very helpful. I called a few others places and they were more expensive and they tried to get me to buy a new one. He took it and looked at it and said it was in good condition. The other companies turned me off. He was very easy going. He picked it up and said let me clean it for you. He told me it worked very well. He offered to show me some of the features on it free of charge.
