I called Jerry in the morning and we set up an appointment for the afternoon of the same day. He called in the afternoon and said he could arrive early if that was convenient for me. He quickly diagnosed the issue and he had the replacement part with him, so he was able to fix the issue in one visit. He quickly replaced the ignitor and tested the oven. Jerry was very professional and efficient.

Our 5 year old GE Profile French Door fridge had started randomly warming up and then cooling down again. We moved all our food to my parents spare fridge twice in the process of trying to figure out if it was broken or not. Eventually it stopped cooling for several days and we called Jerry's Home Appliance Service. Jerry listened to my explanation of the problem and proceeded to investigate. Naturally, the fridge was cooling again on Jerry's arrival, so it was tough for him to identify any problem. He disconnected a small damper that regulates the amount from cold air that moves from the freezer into the fridge area. He said this was a test of sorts to help identify the actual issue, and that he would check back with us or I could call him if something interesting happened. The fridge compartment got very cold for a while and then the whole thing stopped cooling again. The circulation fan was not working, but the compressor was. I called Jerry and he said our only choice now was to start replacing parts that we suspected of failure - I agreed. He did warn me that replacing the fan was a difficult job in that GE, in it's questionable wisdom, had placed it in the back of the freezer requiring that almost the entire thing be disasembled for access. He got the parts and came by on Friday. He started by swapping in a new computer board. This did not solve the issue since the circulation fan still failed to work. He did this first because it only took a few minutes. Jerry then proceeded to take the whole bottom half of the freezer apart to get at this one silly, tiny little fan. He got the new part installed and guess what? It worked. It was the fan all along. Jerry swapped our old computer board back in and did not charge us for that part. I imagine that some repair companies would not have done this.
I told you this long story so you could see how thoughtful and methodical Jerry is in his work. He did it exactly the right way and was a pleasure to work with. His rate was reasonable considering how long it took to disassemble the whole freezer including removal of the ice maker. I highly recommend Jerry for large appliance repair.
He also told me that all French Door bottom freezers drop ice on the floor when you open the lower drawer - which ours has done from day one. I guess I can't hold that against the GE, but I sure can recommend you don't buy their poorly designed products. Refrigerators are supposed to last 20 years before needing significant repair, not 5.

I'm a homeowner in Austin who recently moved to San Francisco. Dealing with my first landlord duty was rather stressful, but Jerry was very responsive and communicative. He arrived earlier than stated (very appreciated) and had the spare part in his truck so the repair was completed immediately. This was very important because even though the turn around time for my tenants reporting the issue to complete repair was 48 hours, you would have thought I told them the issue could be resolved by burning the house down - they were irrational and insolent. Therefore the fact that they reported back that Jerry was professional and efficient is a testament to a job well done.

Jerry was very nice and got to work as soon as he got there. He looked at the refrigerator and noticed it wasn't the refrigerator that we were having the problem with but was with a pipe in the wall. He was very nice about letting us know that and didn't really charge a lot for the job. I will no doubt call on him again when I need someone to look at my appliances.

Jerry was able to come out the same day we called to look at our gas dryer that was not heating. He showed up when he said he would be there and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it right away. Great service and I would use him again.

I liked him fine....he did fix the main problem. However, it is odd that my dryer is not working correctly since the fix. I am not sure if he caused the problem or not, but I would like him to explain to me what the problem could be.

The garbage disposal went out in a rental property I manage. I described the problem to Jerry over the phone and he recommended a replacement. The next day he called me back to schedule a time to replace the unit and was in and out quickly on the scheduled day. His price was fair and upfront. I plan to continue using Jerry for all my appliance repairs.

Jerry answered my call was able to fit me in his schedule on the same day. I was relieved since fridge stopped cooling and were expecting guests to arrive next day. Jerry showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem on the fridge. A wire had gotten water in it and frozen which had caused it to disconnect. He thawed the freezer and securely reconnected the loose wire. He thoroughly tested it while he explained clearly what he was testing and showed me. He quickly put the panels back in.
Other less reputable repair men would have tried to sell a part but Jerry was very professional and ethical. I will gladly call him again for any appliance repair. Good value.

Jerry responded quickly when I called, came out the next morning in the time window he promised to come out, figured out what it was almost immediately, and had the part with him.
I had to take the food out of the freezer. He fixed it and had it back together so quickly, my ice cream barely got soft.

I had contacted another firm for repair work, and he was heavily booked and recommended I contact Jerry. I called and Jerry was able to come by the same day.

It took just a few minutes to determine what happend and why the refrigerator had stopped running. Jerry had the necessary parts on his truck, made the repair and my fridge was back running again in about an hour.

Jerry was efficient, pleasant and came prepared.

He was very prompt and came when he said he would come along. I actually thought it would take longer to get the part because he had to order it so it was a pleasant surprise. He did have to come back because it wasn't positioned properly but that could have been because it was brand new. He came back promptly and reinstalled it. It works perfectly and I have no complaints. He was a very quiet man and he did a good job. He was very accurate with his pricing and he was very punctual. I hope I don't have to use him again but I probably would if I needed to.

Refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling and I went straight to Angie's List to find a repair company. First one wasn't able to schedule us until next week but recommended Jerry's Appliance. Jerry said he could be here this morning. He showed up about an hour later and quickly determined that a fan was not working. He had the part in his stock, replaced the evaporator fan motor and was on his way in about half an hour. Very pleasant, professional and seemed to know exactly what he was doing and what to check based on the symptoms. Refrigerator is cooling down now and we should be able to keep things cold again in about an hour. Good experience.

The water dispenser built into the door of the refrigerator stopped working. Jerry came out and told me the water dispenser line was frozen and that this was a common problem with this age and model of refrigerator. He also noticed the flapper on the ice dispenser was not closing properly. He gave me an estimated price and told me when he thought the parts would be available and I agreed to have the work done. A few days later, Jerry called me to schedule the repair. He was on-time, there were no surprises and the repair went quickly and smoothly. I appreciate that Jerry was very good at communicating the possible limitations of the repair and he gave me some tips to keep the system working smoothly.

Jerry seemed to be ver knowledgeable on the phone when I described the problem I had with my washing machinee. He was availble immediately and came the following morning after we spoke. While fixing the intial problem he also discovered the water pump was leaking so he replaced that as well and did not charge me for extra labor! He was professional and quick and had the replacement parts he needed on the spot. Great job!He also had the lowest in home estimate fee of all the places I called of $50 which he also applied toward the labor cost since I decided to use him for the repair as well.
