Jamie and his partner went right to work and did an excellent job. The two tv's were moved from another home to this property.
After Jamie got thru these tvs had a better picture than they ever had at other location (Jamie was not available to install at other location) so once again Jamie proved that he is the Best.

Jamie made extremely sensible and simple suggestions, which I hoped for. Proposals were itemized and extremely flexible. He came back a couple of times to ensure everything was setup as good as it could be.

Jamie met with us first to determine our needs. He made suggestions relative to the equipment that would best suit our needs. He and his assistant arrived on the scheduled date and installed and tested all equipment and provided instructions on how to operate components. He is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. We would definitely work with him again.

He was very responsive to our requests. We have Roku, local TV channels, and connection to computer on 2 TVs.

Very good job.  Very thorough and compulsive about "doing it the right way."  No shortcuts.

Did not charge me more when job took more time than he expected (ran into unexpected
problems with assembly of console).

He's very knowledgeable and excellent but we found him to be expensive. He's very responsive. His rate per hour is very high and they should know specifically what they want to have done rather than spending a lot of time in consultation.

Jamie was great! I had a system installed for my new business and we used Jamie to do the speaker installation and wiring. He was a huge help in guiding me to less expensive options and giving recommendations for equipment that I bought myself. He was flexible with our schedule and working around the other trades who were on-site.

Based on Angie's List reviews I was expecting an overwhelmingly positive experience, but got more of meh.  I feel like he underestimated the work and was rushed.  The results were not the neatness or professionalism I was expecting.  I could have done what he did myself in the same amount of time.  Examples, the wiring doesn't slack to access the components, the TV wasn't level, and he didn't get to the surround calibration before time was up.  He offered no ideas on where to put the subwoofer when prompted, and just wired it up where we had left it out, again running out of time to set the levels on it. 
We also ran out of time to use the in-wall speakers.  They got connected to the B-side of the stereo, but were too quiet to be usable.  There were no concrete plans to follow up on how to improve it.  
He did give us great advice on affordable and deluxe solutions to setting up the office.

Jaime is extremely professional, knowledgeable, great interpersonal skills, responsible, and very reasonable in price. He is excellent and we would recommend him without any reservations.

Angieslist has done it again - thanks to all the great reviews on Jamie, we have found yet another great person to hire who is extremely knowledgeable about his field and who cares about doing thing in the best possible fashion. 
Jamie got back to my early query messages quickly and with honest answers. He was very organized about setting up an appointment for us with an appropriate amount of time for what we needed done, and he showed up right on time with absolutely everything he needed. So, even though he runs on an hourly rate, he gets right to work in a methodical style, and wastes no time going back and forth to his truck grabbing things he did not anticipate needing. 
He really knows the ins and outs of the various Hi Fi brands - as soon as he had our TV and receiver connected, he was whipping through the Denon and Samsung's GUI like a wizard. No manuals necessary for Jamie!
I could tell based on his answers to my questions that he is staying on top of even new and emerging products in the home theater field, so I would leave this point with anyone reading this review: this person is a great resource to ask for advice and opinions even before your purchasing of equipment stage. I think he could really steer you towards what is really good quality TVs/stereo components/speakers/etc for your budget, needs, and tech savvy-ness.
I would definitely hire him again to mount our TV, custom calibrate the picture, etc when we get around to souping up our upstairs set up. I cannot believe what a difference it made in the picture of our TV, which looked wonderful before, but now which looks jaw dropping.

Everything was completed quickly, as scheduled with a high degree of professionalism and exactly as bid. Jamie also provides regular help over the internet or by email when you have problems. Usually his advice is right on.

Great from start to finish.  This is Jamie's second job for me.  The technology has changed a lot since the first job he did for me.  He is thorough, prompt to reply, punctual with his appt.s, tells it to you straight, honest and efficient.  No one does better work.  I wish all contractors would get an education in the Jamie school of running a business!

I give Jamie 5 stars in every area you can imagine.  His knowledge, creativity, professionalism, technical savvy towards user friendly simplicity and total focus on "saving money to get the best" are all awesome.  He worked around several technical issues towards building an entire new system while keeping some of the older equipment I had?.much appreciated.  He also pulled some really "cool rabbits out of his hat" in giving me a new av system that does much more than I ever expected.  He also provided me a bid on supplying both new equipment and service in setting up new system, yet also told me I was free to purchase the equipment on my own if I could find better price for same equipment?. again, much appreciated.  Finally, we did have one of the new receivers go out 3-4 months after install that he had purchased and installed.  Not only did he immediately get to me on replacing, but upgraded new replacement receiver at no additional cost?.Jamie clearly stands behind his work in most impressive manner.  Once all was completed, he did a thorough and complete walk through on working every component of entire new system until I was totally comfortable in all aspects of new system.  
I highly recommend using Jamie if you have any intent of getting a new av system and/or upgrading a current system. Bottom line, just a fantastic experience at a very fair price.  You may think you know what you want, but having Jamie do the job takes your ideas and puts frosting on your cake that you could never imagine!   I waited one year to do this review just to really experience the new system and give it a real test from myself and family members?.home run on on fronts!  If I ever have need for service or new/upgraded system, Jamie will be my go to person.

Great service

Talked to Jamie on the phone 3 months before construction started on my new home.  Emailed him a copy of my floor plans and told him what I was looking for.  He gave me a rough estimate based on our discussions.  We met for the 1st time to do the pre wire.  He wired the house for wall mounted TVs, Outdoor TVs, outdoor speakers, home networking, and of course surround sound. 
 Communication was excellent, he showed up on time and completed each phase of the project.  The house was wired exactly as we had discussed and all my equipment is now installed and working perfectly.  The den which has our main TV and sound system has a 2" conduit running inside the wall so that any replacement or additional wiring can be done effortlessly.  The cable, ethernet, and speaker wire he used were all of top quality.  Satellite and Internet installers had no problem tying their equipment in.  All their equipment went straight into the AV closet and the outside cabling they required was all set up.  Seamless....

Jamie was SO helpful!  He arrived on time, listened to what we thought we wanted, and then provided invaluable advice and opinions.  He was very knowledgeable, professional, inquisitive, and forthcoming.  He constantly provided advice that was "outside the box" - meaning as a layperson, I never would've thought of it. 

I'm not a tech savvy person, so based on reviews here, I spoke with Jame before I hired him, and he was incredibly helpful in advising me how to have my contractor prepare the sheet rock for easier and cheaper installation of my flat screen tvs.  He was knowledgeable and patient.  Based on those phone calls, I then hired him to do the work.  When I wasn't initially happy with the height of the installed tv, he lowered it without complaint.  He truly wanted me to be happy, and I appreciate that as our family room tv is used all of the time. He also advised me on what remote controls and audio speakers to buy. I appreciated that he was price sensitive and suggested options based on my interests.  After installation, he needed to return to repair a defective Logitech Harmony remote, and gave me a discount on his time. I appreciated that alot. At nother time, I had a question about the tv operations and he quickly answered my question.  While he's not inexpensive, it was the best money I could have invested to set up the audio and video in our new home.
