Jackson's Moving & Delivery

Too bad zero stars isn't possible. Be sure to read Google and Yelp reviews, this is a false high rating. These sheisters promised one date, sat on the stuff for an extra 12 days until I was willing to pay an expediting fee of $4K and while the stuff was in their warehouse they took their time opening all my boxes (almost 100 of them) and picking out jewelry and other valuables. Am pressing charges, run, don't walk away from this company and do your research...I trusted someone else to do that for me, huge mistake.

I didn't have everything in the house. I also occupied one bedroom in the house. In my initial request, there might be some packing involved and they didn't come prepared. They could have worked more quickly. They were slow compared to other movers. If they worked more quickly, I would have paid less. They got here on time. I reminded them of where to put stuff. When I had everything marked but they weren't put in the correct room. I gave them a tip and I wasn't thanked by either one of them.

I could not have been more pleased with the job these guys did!  Very
professional, very fast!  My new place has wood floors throughout, and
they managed to move a bunch of heavy file cabinets into place without
making any scratches.  Whole move from start to finish took them exactly
two hours.  The team was Daryl and Milton.  I highly recommend your
trying to get the two of them for your move!

This place was one of the best moving companies that I have ever used.  I will definitely use them for my next move.  Thanks Jackson's Moving!!

Punctual, polite, quick and careful are relevant adjectives that come to mind.
We had moved Jackson's previously and they were really good, moved everything.
The crew on the second move was still very organized and polite, but if an item was not in a box or the container did not have a "Lid" on it, even though it was secured with Wrap and would not spill out, they would not touch it. (Excluding obvious things like couches chairs) But even lamp were rejected from being moved. Found that odd.
So was not really ecstatic about that part, but .... I guess I somewhat understand liability.
So they are highly recommended.  But have your boxes or containers with lids or closed if you want them to get moved.
that is my only complaint.

Movers were really excellent. They came in and worked like crazy for 4 hours. Charged me exactly what they said. Made it through 98% of the move and then a fridge slipped and hit my front door. It was an extremely tight fit so I can't really fault the movers too much. They said they would make it right, regardless of what was needed which was appreciated but not needed due to the very limited damage.

The movers themselves were courteous, fast, and efficient. However, damage was done to the footboard of our bed and our custom handmade tv stand, and our dryer knob was broken off. We didn't even see the knob was broken until the next day when we started doing laundry and the knob just fell off when we touched it. The guys took pictures of the footboard and the tv stand and said the boss would call us to arrange for someone to come out and repair them but we never received any such call. Our review grade would have been much better had they actually called and followed through on the repairs.

Update: furniture professional was sent to our home to assess the damage. He offered us two options: to repair in our home or to take pieces to his shop and repair them. We chose to have them repaired in our home. He was very professional and courteous, and explained what needed to be done and how he would do it. The work was completed to our satisfaction that same day. Thanks to Jackson's Moving for making things right. We would definitely use them again if the need arises.

The move went great. They were very courteous and professional. They also had a great sense of humor the whole time! Even when rush hour traffic and the rain hit.

They were fantastic. Half of it was destined for the apartments and half of it for storage and they got it unpacked when in 6 hours both places. They did an amazing job. It was two men and they had to move things like my husband had a workshop, so we had some big and heavy tool boxes and tools and equipment that they moved and did a great job. What couldn't fit into the apartment went into a 10 by 15 storage unit that they put together like a puzzle and made it fit with cases there. We were just blown away with their skill.

We thought that they did an amazing job in both cases.
With the business move, we wanted to minimize the amount of time that we were closed. And, we had a very large volume of items that had to move.  So, much of the move happened in the evening, after our close of business. They were very accommodating of this requirement. This move was doubly complex because it happened downtown where parking logistics are quite difficult. 
Both moves were quite successful. Jackson's staff was friendly and professional. All of our items arrived with no breakage. 
I would unhesitatingly recommend Jackson's to anyone.

We recently wrapped up using Jackson's Moving and Delivery for six separate moves inside Austin in a four week period.  We were
moving from two different condos into a new home, and also each had things in storage (so, that captures four of the moves). Separate from that, we had purchased some furniture from another home owner who was leaving Austin, but we purchased it prior to closing on our new home. So, we needed to first put that into storage, and then retrieve it from storage a few weeks later and deliver
it to our new home (that captures the remaining two moves).  Thurman and his team were fantastic to work with.  Across six moves, the only thing we ran into an issue w/ was some minor damage to one leg of a chair in a dining room set.  Thurman had it repaired and dropped back off in short order and it was like brand new.  I've already recommended them to a co-worker who subsequently used them with the same extremely positive experience we had.  These are the guys we'll continue to leverage going forward... Very
impressed.

The movers they sent were great to work with. They were hard working people and they did a great job. They have reasonable prices however, they were able to come out Friday afternoon but they kept changing the times on me and I had to wait around for them, which was frustrating.
