They arrived on schedule, which was good, as we had already lined up the plumber, electrician, painter, etc. They did not have the grout with them, and said if I wanted a certain color of grout to match the tile, I would have to wait another week. We opted to proceed with white grout, which I had to go buy myself from Lowe's (as the contractor left his worker here with no way to get the grout). I had to monitor the installer about every twenty minutes and ask him to straighten up areas of the tile. However, the shower tile is still very uneven in places. Plus, we ended up hating the white grout - it looked really cheap next to our expensive glass tile. However, the installer had no options for us. After consulting another tile store, we opted to stain the grout, which took us a couple of days, as we had to use a toothbrush with the small tile. It looks okay now, but I almost wish I hadn't even bothered redoing it, as we are not happy with the end result. People often ask us if we did it ourselves - it looks that unprofessional.

When two rather small men showed up, I was sure that (a) they wouldn't be able to move some of the heavy furniture by themselves and (b) they'd never finish in one day, especially since it was almost 10:00am before they arrived. I was wrong on both counts. They finished one room at a time, which meant they only had to move furniture into the next room. They used their time well, too, so they finished about 7:00pm. I was around most of the day, but had to be out as they were working on the master bedroom, where the hospital bed is, so I missed the fact that they didn't know how to disconnect the telephone or the cable connection to a small television (I'm not sure they would have asked me, anyway - they may not have spoken enough English.) They simply pulled the wires out of the wall, and neither appliance worked until they were repaired with new plugs and connections. One other problem was the salesman's fault: I had specifically said the weight of carpet underlay I wanted, since I did not want a thick, bouncy carpet. Apparently the salesman couldn't believe I knew what I wanted, and he upgraded me to a heavier grade of underlay, which I realized only after the job was completed and everyone had left.

It took the workers about 5 months to finish. I was pleased with that because of the project size. One of the problems that I encountered during this project was that there were not enough tiles ordered. They also did not send a representative out daily to check on how the work was coming. I felt like I had to watch the workers myself. A couple things were not sealed properly as well, so I had to have them come back out and fix that. I would not use this company again because there were so many issues during the project. I thought that it could have gone more smoothly. It was not the size of the mistakes that was bad, it was how many they made.

This was an awful experience and it still is an awful experience! We are still waiting for the work to be finished. They started on the work about three weeks ago and they have not completed our carpet. They did not order enough tiles, so there was a delay on the kitchen floor. It's like they took my money and did not care enough to finish the project.

The sales person I dealt with told me that if I purchased too much flooring than what I needed, that he would refund my money, even past the 30 day period, since the floors were in such demand. After 30 days, we had about 5 boxes leftover, and after a month of him not returning phone calls and avoiding us, I filed a complaint with the BBB. When he received the letter from the BBB, he finally called us and allowed us to return the wood, though we were required to pay a restocking fee.

They did an effective job and came back later to finish a spot where they had run out of flooring.

The workers did a good job. They laid laminate flooring in the front hallway. I am very pleased with how it turned out. It looks great. The workers were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. I am happy with the overall service. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends.
