HMS Handyman Services

I was highly disappointed in the services of HMS Handyman. They are incredibly unprofessional. I own a rental property so I am on the lookout for a trusted service professional that will help me with projects that come up very regularly. I hired them for this initial project, and told them about another project I am needing to be done in the near future. They told me they would be more than happy to help me, and said they would send me an estimate for my next project. Not only did I never hear back from them about the estimate, but they refuse to give me a receipt for the work that was already done. I've called and emailed them numerous times only to be met with silence. I can forego the lack of estimate that was promised me. I can also forego the fact that I've been met with silence after my project was done. However, as a rental property owner, I depend on those receipts. It's the only way I am able to show not only keep track of my expenses, but to use for tax credits. Without them, I cannot run my business well. HMS is incredibly unprofessional, and has been a detriment to my business.

Art was professional through the entire experience. He did an excellent job on the install of the back door and frame. He had to remove the old door frame first, then cut at the top to allow the new frame to fit, and caulk all the right areas. He was able to save the old trim on the inside of the house, but since the new door we bought was a couple of inches taller than the old one, it left a gap at the bottom. Art offered to run to Home Depot to pick up new trim that would be longer and fit properly. It did and the door looks great! It also works great - opens and closes fine, and even the locks work perfectly now! He also took all the debris and old frame away with him and swept the area clean so I didn't have to worry about any of that! I highly recommend Art and would hire him again. In fact, I have another project that I've already asked for a quote on.

I was very pleased with this company. Art kept in touch regarding the time we agreed on. When he showed up he was very pleasant, professional, efficient, and helpful with any questions I had.

Art Fuentes came to our home to install new shower/tub hardware that we had purchased from Home Depot. Mr. Fuentes looked at the plumbing already in place and determined that what we had purchased would not work with the existing plumbing. Mr. Fuentes offered up a solution to the issue, which we followed, and was able to fix the problem. We are EXTREMELY happy with the services that Mr. Fuentes provided to us.
