I've worked with almost every awning/shade/sail company in Travis county and they are the only one that shows up when they say they will and completes the work when they say they will.  I won't use anyone else from here on out!

Everything went very well, ahead of schedule. A.D. arrived a little before the scheduled time, that was great, he accessed the damage and gave suggestions as to what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate. We set up a date/time for them to come and get the awning. Within two weeks the awning was repaired and on its way back. The wiring was repaired for all three units. The awning was replaced and better than before. While working on the awnings, they cleaned all of the awnings so now they all look new. They also took screening off of the awnings that were not necessary. All three workers were very professional and very diligent in their work. When they left, they cleaned up after themselves.

They were recommended by another company which could not provide what we needed and came out right away to show us samples, describe their different sun screen systems, took measurements and sent us estimates for all three types of their systems. We visited their showroom/manufacturing facility to get a better idea of what the various systems looked like. After we decided on which one we wanted, they were true to their lead time of 3-4 weeks for installation. Installation was completed on 7/14/2014 and it was very smooth and the screens look great and fit good. We are very satisfied with the whole process and have recommended them to our neighbors who are looking for a similar system.

They had lots of options for size and for color of the canvas. They were very patient to explain everything. It was installed on Sept. 5, 2013 and is very professionally done. We have had many compliments and are very happy with the shade. It has a great warranty and it is obvious by the workmanship why they are able to warranty their work so fully. I highly recommend Hill County Shades.

“14 years ago Hill Country Shade installed motorized fabric shades on our
house. We are in a location that gets
constant winds gusts, sometimes as high as 80 mph. The shades held up and the motors and
controllers continued to work just fine.
Very occasionally I would call A.D for an adjustment or advice. He always responded very quickly. Last year we had a direct lightning strike
take out our motors and the controllers.
It also blew up our chimney, our appliances, home network, and Heat and
AC. My insurance covered a shade replacement. (Farmers Insurance was great) A.D. and Shane installed the new system with
tracks. The tracks required adjustment
once because of the tight dimensions where we have light fixtures. A.D. and Shane came quickly to make the adjustment
even though it was a Saturday. Since
then we had a windstorm this February that blew away part of our roof. The shades with the side tracks are definitely
worth buying. We have them set at the
highest wind speed and they have performed perfectly. This has allowed the best sun protection for
our home.”

Yes, very much so. I did the install but they did a good job putting it together. I'd just say excellent quality products. It was pretty prompt.

We initially wanted to purchase an awning from Costco and we were looking for someone to just install the awning. We got Hill Country Awnings from Angie's list and the cost was reasonable. Once we visited, however, we decided that a custom shade gave us more flexibility and better quality material, despite the additional cost. A.D. and Dana were very friendly and helpful, taking time to explain the process and the options. I really liked the fact that this is a local family-owned and run business from sales to installation. The installation was completed quickly and efficiently. They tested the awning, including the wind sensor, before they left. They also worked with us to make minor adjustments to make sure the awning was level with the house. After using it daily for almost a month, we are very pleased with the results.

Shane and his team arrived on time. They installed the awning at the height that I wanted. They made adjustments to my preference. They installed the lights. Lastly, they showed and taught me how to operate the awning.

This was an all cedar patio. Kenny Rose is the owner. He has great attention to detail, great customer service skills, good communication skills and great quality of work.
