The owner/operator, Paul Green, takes his customers interests/concerns to heart and he wants the best job done for them. However, his workers don't seem to "get it". They forget to use the string trimmer in a manner that keeps the cut grass from flying into the tree wells and into the flower beds and on the decorative rock beds. When this is pointed out, they say they will blow it off before they leave, but they don't. It is very messy looking, and, as it dries there, it just looks ugly. The same type of situation occurs when they trim shrubs. The mess they leave is awful. I end up cleaning it up after them. I have tried to work with them, show them what I want done, explain how the rest of the job, cleaning up, is part of their job, but to no avail! I have talked to Paul Green about this many, many times. He agrees that they should clean up better, and says he will talk with them. But nothing changes. Some areas of the yard, like the rock bed in the front yard don't get cleaned at all. Certain corners, such as behind the air conditioner, can be loaded with fall leaves and debris, and they will ignore it. I have, occasionally, used my blower to clean out some of the collections of leaves onto the lawn on the morning of the day that they are to mow. They do not like that! Mr. Green is an honest and hard working business man. His crew of people are, generally, courteous and hard working. But they are usually in a big hurry to get to the next job. It is a problem! Many times we have discussed changing our lawn care company. Then we wonder if the next company would be any better. Originally we recommended Greenway to all of our neighbors. Many neighbors signed contracts with him. But, over time, many if not most, have changed to other companies. They weren't happy at all with what they got! We have oftenhired Greenway to do work outside of the contracted services. They have planted and/or removed plants and trees, with varying degrees of success. In one case, they planted a row of boxwood for us at a given price. The next year we asked for another area to be planted with the same type and size of boxwood. The price per plant was double! For a several years, contacting the company meant leaving voice mail and/or email that didn't get answered! It seems that for the last few months, email is being answered. Hope it stays that way for a while. We still might be pushed into changing companies. Sometimes it is too much to put up with. We no longer recommend Greenway Lawncare to anyone.
