He was a terrific guy. We didn't end up going with him because we got referred to a friend of a friend. He gave me a quote within two days of calling. The reviews prompted me to call him to come out and give me a quote. His quote was very reasonable.

I got a hold of Justin on the phone at the end of the day. He sent out Greg the very next day to check it out. Greg gave me the heads up phone call and arrived as promised. Greg assessed the situation, left to retrieve additional materials, and performed the fix. I was very pleased with everything and would definitely call Gray Renovation first in the future for additional tasks I need.

Justin and his crew are very professional and easy to work with. Justin was very amendable to changes in scope and schedule and comfortable dealing with the uncertainty characteristic of a renovation. They quickly returned to fix a few minor issues after completing most of the work. He is very accessible during construction. He prepared a bid promptly and communicated progress very well. I have already planned to hire them again.

The entire project went extremely well. Justin, Greg, and Alexander were all very personable, highly skilled, reliable, punctual, and pleasant to work with. They worked hard and took care to try to minimize the amount of time that the project took, given that my house has only one bathroom. They were also very conscientious about cleanup and removal of construction debris. Justin went out of his way to answer my questions, explain plans, and keep me informed and well advised throughout the job. The crew did a fabulous job, and I'm very happy with the results!

I have worked with a few different contractors in the past; here are a few things that differentiated Gray Renovation and why I
will use them in the future.

Easy to work with – I like to do some jobs around my house myself, so I asked Justin to break out each of the componentsof the remodel and chose to take on a few of the jobs myself. I did electrical and drywall, his guys took
care of the rest. Very easy to work with and willing to scope the project to fit your budget. They also nailed the proposal and was almost exactly what I paid.
Responsive – The crew was very proactive about their schedule and when they would be in and out. Had no problems with them showing up and working like I’ve had with other contractors.
Quality of work – The quality of work was exceptional. I am used to studying acontractors work post project and identifying what was screwed up and what needs to be fixed before final payment. Greg’s quality of work and results were so good, I found myself actually leaning on him for some of the design decisions and talking through what would look best. I think it’s pretty rare to
find contractors that are willing to lead a project, in some cases it’s hard to find contractors that speak fluent English.
Will hire them again, will run future projects by Justin to see if anyone he knows can help, I’m glad I found a good general contractor in Austin.

Before we closed on the house, we had Justin come in and give us an estimate on all the work we wanted performed. We came up with the designs based on ideas that we had been collecting. The demolition of the old hardware took place and was complete the first day. Over the next few weeks, the guys arrived each day to put down the foundation and lay the tiles. They even went to the tile place and picked them up for us. They were very professional and friendly. They also cleaned up the workspace at the end of each day. As the project went on and decisions needed to be made, Justin walked us through the pros and cons of each option.
We also had him assess the feasibility of using a small laundry closet for a stackable washer/dryer set. His opinion was to not use it because it would be too small. We decided to take another piece of his advice and place them in the garage. We're glad we did because the closet has become a much needed storage space and the washer and dryer are much more easily accessible in the garage.
Overall, we're very satisfied with the work that was done and love our new bathroom. We would definitely recommend Justin and his team and most certainly will be calling on them again for future projects.

We are a non-profit store that needed to build a relationship with someone reliable that could meet our ongoing needs. I called him for an estimate for some general repairs and he was able to fit me in the next day. He showed up right on time and was a joy to work with - very professional and extremely polite and nice. Once he saw what we needed he went right out and bought the materials and was able to finish the job plus more in just a couple of hours. We plan to use him a lot in the future. We would highly recommend him!

Overall, we thought his crew was very skilled and personable, and we would hire Gray Renovations again in a heartbeat.

Justin was prompt and thoughtful in his estimate and his work was excellent. A gem from my perspective.

Justin came back to repair items the pre-sale inspection report listed as safety concerns. He also removed a hot tub and a large load of trash left by the tenant. Thank you Justin for a job well done, I was so glad to see that last load of trash leave.

He was on time and worked hard to get everything fixed on my long list. I am very pleased with the work and will definitely use Gray Renovation again. Thanks Justin.

He seemed happy to work within the confines of my needs and budget, and ultimately delivered a product that exceeded my expectations.
