Brent responded quickly and confirmed what 2 other companies had told me, I needed to replace the entire system(19 years old, no complaint). He's extremely straightforward, one of those rare guys who clearly wants to earn your business, not just make a sale. Everything went exactly as discussed and a year later my new energy efficient system is working perfectly and saving me $75-$150/ month on my electric bill from April to November. During the past year I had a couple of questions, he answered his phone and took care of whatever I needed. Good guy, good company.

I came home and found our AC dead on a Friday.  Called them around 5pm and they had someone out that night, started installing new system Sunday.  They gave us a portable AC unit to use in the mean time.  Great guys.  Were not pushy in sales.

Brent and his team from Go Green Heating and Cooling were incredible from start to finish. We originally called in a former A/C repair company to take a look at our system which had stopped working. The repairman said the blower was out. He said based upon the age of the unit (16yrs) we shouldn't waste our money on replacing the blower because it would be $700 for him to do it and possibly up to $1000 if we needed freon or anything. At that point, I decided to call in 3 - 4 companies for replacement quotes for our HVAC. I reviewed 3 companies through BBB, Yelp and Angie's list. Brent, the owner of Go Green showed up at his scheduled time with a colleague and suggested first we verify that it was the capacitor and the blower, and perhaps just a repair was a better idea. It was a good unit he said, which we agreed. He tested and verified it was the cap and blower and offered to replace it that same day (though their team was very busy with other jobs) at a price that was less than the prior quote. He was very concerned that we have AC as soon as possible because the temps were warming up and our family was going to be pretty uncomfortable. He personally replaced it at 6 or so that evening (after hours) for the price he specified. Great service and a very, very polite and clean team that worked with him. That evening the unit froze up. The freon levels were too low (we knew we had a leak from previous years). At that point, I called him, my husband was out of  town and the AC had been out or on the fritz for 3 days by that point and it was pretty miserable. He sent one of his guys out to add freon so we could have AC and said if we went with his company he would count this towards the work. It was a no brainer. The price for the unit was comparable with the other quotes, he even matched on some items - but most of all he and his team were over the top on service. They were professional and outstanding beyond compare. I was very disappointed in the other companies responses, the way they talked to me in some cases, and the big business feel. Brent and any of the guys who came to service the HVAC issues were incredibly informative, polite and had great suggestions for meeting our improvement needs without adding lots of cost. He didn't try to sell us things we did not need. They were responsive by phone and text and made every effort to help us out same day no matter how busy they were. My husband had been out of town most of that week we were dealing with this, but based upon my interaction with Brent and his team and then my husband's follow up with questions it was an easy decision for us to make. We trusted him and his team and actually liked them. The younger service providers even often said yes ma'am, no ma'am, yes sir, no sir. They were careful and cleaned up meticulously after the replacement and repairs. And my husband kept commenting on how impressed he was with how thorough and again "meticulous" they were. In addition, they are certified through the City of Austin's energy website for the rebate programs (btw, not all companies are - so beware).

In this case we used Brent and his team to resolve a faulty zone panel with our residential A/C. It was a non-emergency repair but Brent was on top of it and had a replacement part 2 days later. He was tied up that Friday and Saturday so he came out on Sunday to make the repair. He is prompt, courteous, reliable and most important honest!
We've used Brent and his team on prior jobs and he has never disappointed. At one job, we had an issue with the hardware installed (manufacturer) and Brent took care it, probably eating the cost of the repair. He followed up several times after to make sure the issue did not return and that we were completely satisfied with both the product and his install job.
