I have insurance for my business. I always strive for 100% client satisfaction in all the work I do. For for me the small details is most important and I really like perfection. I have been working for one company installing hardwood, vinyl, and laminate flooring in houses in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston areas. I have done everything from removing old floor tile, carpet, hardwood, leveling uneven floors, installing baseboards, and shoe molding; pretty much everything related to installing floors. I decided to I wanted to work for my clients directly. I have 15 years of experience in tile removal and installation of hardwood, vinyl, and laminate flooring. I'm a small business owner. Mauricio and his crew did an excellent job installing vinyl plank flooring throughout our home. They work very hard and are very conscientious about their work. They arrive on time and are so well mannered. They are very knowledgeable about installing floors. I read the reviews about this company before I hired them and after I met Mauricio, I didn't even bother getting other bids. I knew instantly that he was the right for the job because of his knowledge, years of experience, price, and integrity. My floors are beautiful! I highly recommend General Wood Flooring.

I hired Mauricio to redo the floors in our Master bedroom. We had old carpet that needed to be removed first so we didn’t quite know that state of the surface below and what would need to be done before the new flooring could be installed. Mauricio did a great job of communicating the various scenarios that could unfold and the work that would be needed as a result. He got the job done in the time frame he originally quoted (1 day), kept things very clean and the end result is exactly what we were looking for. I would hire Mauricio and General Wood Flooring again in an instant.

Great friendly responsive professional service for all our handyman repair jobs. Mauricio is dedicated and hard worker and got various work including flooring, painting, cleaning, landscaping, taken care of for my properties for several years. I needed the carpet removed out of a bedroom and thought I wanted laminate flooring. I called Mauricio from General Wood Flooring and he came and showed me some Vinyl flooring which he said is better than laminate. He had some samples and one of them I really liked. He gave me an estimate and asked for a down-payment for materials. That was on a Saturday morning and by Saturday night he was done. He removed all the carpet and tack strips and installed this beautiful Vinyl flooring. The price was fair and the attention to detail was excellent! I also like how I wasn't paying a middle man, the guy who gave me the quote also did all of the work. I would definitely recommend Mauricio and his company General Wood Flooring.
