Fox Service Co. Installed new venting and a furnace in our hours several years ago. During that installation, the installers severed two truss in the attic. We were not aware of this damage until we were selling our house and hired an inspector to do a pre-sell inspection. So, if you have worked done that requires attic access be sure you inspect the work before you pay.

I called Precision (who is also now Fox through a buyout?) to service my AC. They sent two technicians, one of who was very nice and the other not so. The nice technician said up front that it was too cold to get a good reading off the AC, and I offered to set another date. The not-so-nice technician insisted it could be done by wrapping garbage bags around it. They were already out, and the not-nice one was insistent, so I let them look at the AC unit. The nice technician got to work looking at the units in the attic, and the not-so-nice one started asking questions. During the conversation, I mentioned that I had had trouble over the last couple of years because the refrigerant was low, and they were able to add some, and it worked fine. The not-nice technician immediately started talking about a new unit without any diagnostic effort saying that the cost of a new unit might be cheaper than putting refrigerant in. He said that even if it worked, the hole is likely bigger because they grow over time, so it would likely fail anyway. It felt like we were in a verbal jousting match and ended up with the not-nice technician going down to look at the outside unit. He looked at it briefly and pointedly noted that it was missing a sticker that "goes right here." (It looked like he was just pointing at a random blank spot). He said he would have to start putting the refrigerant in and weighing it out because there was no sticker on the unit. I guess there is no way in today's age to get from a model number to information about the specs of a device. At that point, I was done. I paid their service fee and asked them to leave. The parting words from the not-nice technician were, "We wouldn't put in a unit for you anyway." I still don't know how a garbage bag would help, but there you go.

So disappointing! As a General Contractor, I had Fox look at a couple of items for me at one of our commercial clients. I gave explicit instructions to the techs & the person that dispatched the team that the invoices needed to come to me directly. Instead, Fox sent them directly to my client, cutting me out of the picture. Now more than a year later and 2 conversations with the company later, and they are still harassing me about the outstanding invoices. They prevented my company from earning a management fee on both of these jobs, and they are still harassing me 1 year later.

work was not performed. Cancelled on me at the end of the day. I have been a Priority One customer for years. At least since the early 2000's. I feel like they send out sub par technicians for the HVAC inspections and their customer service is not what is was.

Contacted Fox for AC service and was given an appointment in the timeframe requested. Dispatch called ahead to let us know a tech was on their way and timeframe. Tech was early and ready to work. Diagnosed the problem with a mini split system wall type unit as being lack of refrigerant. Gave 3 options on how he could proceed and his recommendation. Added 2 lbs of refrigerant and system back in full service. Also checked our other units while on site.

Fox recently reorganized or was sold. Disregard all old reviews as they are not about current management. I had used them a year ago but did not know of the change. Took two days to come out to fix AC. I was specific that this was in a high rise condo, chilled water system, and I wanted someone who had been before at this very large building. I told them the building engineer evaluated and told me I need a new actuator. They gave me time range or 8 to 5, refused to be specific. Fellow shows up at 4. Looks at my system and say, “I’m not qualified to work on this”. They sent another fellow. 5PM. He got out the manual. Did not have a clue. Muttering and cussing as he tried to figure things out. 645PM and we had to leave. He did not bring an actuator on truck. Called the next AM and asked to speak to a manager. 24 hours later no return call. These people are going to fail. They are being banned from our building due to poor customer service.

It took a while but we finally sort it out. The problems with our AC was caused by a different incompetent company that installed the system. We were very happy & relief that Fox was able to get the system to work properly at last!

We have used Fox Service for years and years. It?s a fairly large company. We have been extremely pleased with them. They do heating and air, they do plumbing and they do electrical work. We?ve used them for all of those areas and we have been extremely pleased.

We had purchased a brand new built-in oven. The opening was too big, so we had to make the opening a little smaller, that is why we had to hire a handyman. Along with that we had to have the gas line moved over, so that is what Fox did for us. We are a preferred custom, so we get a discount. We are very, very pleased. Compared to other companies their price is an ?A?.

They were awesome. We got more than one quote. They sent the project manager over to do the estimate and he was very thorough, gave us 3 different quotes, explained everything. He was just very, very good. The technicians were extremely skilled and they kept it as quiet as they could because I work from home.

We mostly use them because they are more available, especially if you call them on nights and weekends. When you call, you get a live person answering the phone. They have a dispatch service, but I don't know exactly how it works. The service is really good.

They come out twice a year for the seasonal change. They check things and make sure there are no leaks and all of that stuff. Then you get priority treatment if you have anything happen throughout the year. One person came to complete the service. It took about an hour. They left the area very clean. They communicated what problems we had or didn't have very well. They are reliable and send out professional service people. I've used them for years.

The Fox serviceman was prompt, courteous, and professional. The cost, about $191, including a fee of about $20 imposed by the city, was fairly standard for this job.

Very Professional from beginning to end. Prompt quote by Joseph. Joseph noted some items about our HVAC that another Air Conditioning company (check up) didn't. Quick scheduling for work. Crew: Rick, Juan & Sebastian on time. They worked in the flat attic preparing for blown-in insulation, repairing ducts, sealing ducts, insulation around the HVAC. Didn't leave until job was completed - 11 hours later. A pleasure to work with, courteous, cleaned up after. Would call Fox again.

Unclogging the drain went well. It cost $171 which included a 10% senior discount, which I would consider moderately expensive. He was here for approximately 45 minutes. The representative was very professional and courteous. However the quote to fix the commode was anywhere from $190 to $380 (which was the likely number) or possibly more. I think it just needs a gasket, but I'm not a plumber. It doesn't leak, so we may live with it for awhile. I just think that is extremely high. I will get an estimate from another company before I spend $380 for the other work. I may even level it and replace the gasket myself.

I have been a customer, and Priority Customer, with Fox for about 12 years. When they returned my call (promptly), I was told: "This is your lucky day, we have availability. A technician will call you and arrive by 6pm!" This was at 7:30am. Frustrated, I used Angies list and identified one of their competitors. I called them and they dispatched a technician who arrived within an hour and had me back up and running. A Fox technician did call when the competitor tech was at our house and I told them "nevermind." So much for responsiveness.
